Live like Jesus

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.

Genesis 1:31 NIV

And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

Mark 1:11 NIV

There have been many good men in history, but only one pleased the Father so much that He was vocal about it. God was pleased when He made the earth, and it was through his word that the earth came into existence. And it was this word that became flesh in Christ Jesus. And so if we are to please the Father, we are to live like Jesus. It's not difficult to live like him, for Jesus himself said, Man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

I pray that God our Father is pleased as you emulate the ways of Jesus in your life, living each day to do his Father's will. And may His Holy Spirit give you courage, wisdom and strength along the way. Amen
