Obedience

Samuel said, “Which does the LORD prefer: obedience or offerings and sacrifices? It is better to obey him than to sacrifice the best sheep to him.
1 Samuel 15:22 GNBDK

Reflection:
What displeases God is disobedience and that began in the Garden of Eden. While we might think that offering a sacrifice will please him, had we obeyed him they wouldn't be a need for a sacrifice.

Prayer:
I pray that you submit yourself willingly to God our Father as you obey his word made flesh in Jesus his son. May His Holy Spirit give you the wisdom, understanding and a submissive heart. Amen
