One of those who heard us was Lydia from Thyatira, who was a dealer in purple cloth. She was a woman who worshipped God, and the Lord opened her mind to pay attention to what Paul was saying.

Reflection:
You may belong to any race, culture or creed. As you seek the truth and love God with all your heart, mind soul and strength. God will reveal himself to you! How many times have we run pillar to post seeking God and yet felt distant. The truth is God is looking at you from the inside, when he finds himself in your heart, he will come and dwell there.
Prayer:
I pray that God our Father draws you close to Jesus his son, in whom is the the source and summit to Eternal Life. May his Holy Spirit help you understand scripture and God's plan for your life. Amen
