I ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him. I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people.

Reflection:
There are eyes and then there are eyes of faith. And as Christians we are called by our faith and not by sight. Priests, preachers, religious and the converted sinners; all see the hope they have been called in Christ Jesus and to which there bear witness. Are we then only inheriting our faith or can we see the promised hope and bear witness to it?
Prayer:
I pray that God our Father brings to fruition the plans he has for your life as you accept his son Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. And may his Holy Spirit reveal to you the hope and joy that leads you to be a witness. Amen
