See like God sees

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Genesis 4:7 NIV

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?..”
Matthew 7:3 NIV

It is very easy to be judgemental about someone, and this perspective is shown to us at the very beginning in the story of Cain and Abel, perhaps that's why Jesus tells us that we if have anything against our brother or sister, we will be subject to judgment (Mat 5:22). So how must I look at everyone?

In love and kindness, or simply put the way you'd want everyone to look at you, especially God our Father. We are given many examples in the new testament, time and again the Pharisees and scribes had their own perspective be it at the women caught in adultery or as told to us in the story of the rich king who forgave his servants' debts. We are taught by Jesus himself that He sees Love and Mercy. Who are we to judge then? The best barometer to adjudge one's self then, is best summed up in words of Carl Jung "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."

I pray that God our Father gives you the grace, wisdom, and understanding as you surrender unto him every situation. Like Jesus may you see the world with eyes of love despite its condemnation of you and may His Holy Spirit be your guiding force. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)
