Jesus called the twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.

Reflection:
The power and authority with Christ disciples come from Christ himself, for he doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called.
Prayer:
God our Father Thank you for calling me to be a disciple of Jesus your son. May I truly live my life as an honest disciple each day led by your Holy Spirit. Amen
