Knowing God's Love

“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.
Hosea 11:8 NIV

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
John 15:9 NIV

Have you ever been in love? The euphoria at the beginning is always exciting, your partner sees you beyond the faults and it's all rosy, but the moment the euphoria fades, the cracks begin to appear and then there is judgement, there are fights, there is doubt, and finally a compromise rather than understanding. But with God it's not like that; God has created you in his image and likeness, but He has given you a free will, and He knows how you think, behave or will act even before you know it, but God still loves you, and calls out to you 'come to me'. The best example would be that of Peter. Jesus knew what was to come and when it did come,  He looked straight at Peter, but looked with him in Love, at that look assured Peter that God will never leave you no matter what, no matter even if you deny him, because that is how much God loves you and we are called to be the same. We are called to reflect God's love in our relationships and not replace it.

I pray that you experience in your heart the warmth, joy and unconditionality of the Father's Love like His Son Jesus who because of this love gave himself up and may the Holy Spirit be your counsel to Unconditional and Abundant Love. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)
