Called to be like our Creator

The Lord said to Moses, "Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy."

Leviticus 19:1‭-‬2 NIV

"Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Matthew 5:48 NIV

When a baby is born, everyone will try to figure out who the baby looks and will be like, and likewise at different stages in life. But somewhere we have forgotten, that we have been created in the image and likeness of God. Somewhere we have forgotten that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and God dwells within us. We have limited ourselves to satisfactions here on earth, reasoning our human imperfection. But God is clear on how he wants us to be, we are called to be like our creator. 

I pray that God our Father through His Grace brings you to the awareness that you are as Human as Jesus was when He was on earth. And nothing is impossible, for Jesus has overcome everything. May His Holy Spirit be by your side at all times. Amen
