Ask and you shall receive

He satisfies those who are thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
Psalms 107:9

Bad as you are, you know how to give good things to your children. How much more, then, will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!
Matthew 7:11

God is Love and the very nature of love is to give. And so it is with God, He is always wanting to give. As pilgrims on this earth we traverse the paths of life often crossing desserts and uphill climbs, but we do so because most times we are seeking are own way, and that is why we find the journey difficult at most times. We are all called to be part of his great banquet, but how do we reach the Banquet, we ask God to become our guide. Why ? because only He knows the way, for He is Way, the Truth and the Life. But the key is in asking, for when we ask we are humble, and God not only loves but also rewards humility. For even the Son of Man came to serve and not to be served. So no matter what your situation is; do as Jesus said, "Ask, and you shall receive..."

I pray that God the Father in all his benevolence gives you all that you ask of Him in the name of His son Jesus Christ thus bringing you closer to Him with the guidance and good counsel of the Holy Spirit. Amen
