Somewhere deep within us is a child that is lost, for the world shapes us that way. All of life experiences teaches us to fight, which is why there is so much of hate, dissent, anger and sin.
If we go back to our childhood, we will realize that nothing really mattered, the kind of clothes we wore or the toys we played or the friends we played with. Even whilst playing if we fought, sorry never seemed to be the hardest word. But as grown ups, everything has changed; our thoughts, our perceptions and our actions. How then can we belong to God's Kingdom? Jesus is very clear when He says, "The Kingdom belongs to Children" He wants us to be child like in our thoughts, words and actions with complete faith and trust in God. Therefore it should be our earnest prayer to God to create in us a new heart, a child like heart, so that we can see the world the way God sees it and play our part in making the world a better place.
I pray that God the Father creates in you a child like heart and may you trust Him with your life completely like His son Jesus thus walking in the light and truth always guided by his Holy Spirit. Amen
