A friend plays more than a significant part in ones life, think about it, when you messed up, the first thing you did was call up your closest friend and confided or perhaps when you're gng thru the lows of life you want to reach out to your friend, perhaps that's why God gave us the options of choosing friends because most times it is with friends that temptations are given into...
So how do you choose a friend ? You ask God to send you friends because God himself is and wants to be your friend. Think about it, If God wanted us to be his slaves, he would have never given us free will, infact by giving us the power of choice He wants us to make the decision of becoming his friends. And what a friend we have in Jesus, we surely can carry every single thing to Him and simply be ourselves for He came not to judge but to set us free.
When you Pray this week leave your format aside, and talk to God as if you were confiding in your best friend and watch what happens...
I pray that the Love of God draws you close to His son Jesus as each day you get to know him better and the bond of your friendship grows with fruits of the Holy Spirit. Amen
