Give Thanks

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Psalm 9:1 NIV

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 NIV

Everything that happens in your life is for a reason, it either gives you a wonderful moment to cherish or gives a lesson for a lifetime. One ought to be grateful for both, as they become a catalyst helping us become better people. But that is only if we realize that God is allowing events to unfold based on choices made out of our free will. Sometimes we tend to go on the wrong path and we stumble, but God in all his Goodness and Graciousness reaches out to only redirect our paths, towards him. The only attitude we ought to have is Gratitude, for that is what God wills. Even at the last supper, knowing fully, that he was to go through, Jesus gave 'Thanks'.

I pray in Thanksgiving to God our Father for the gift of you, that in Christ Jesus we may all humbly accept all that God's wills in our life. And may His Holy Spirit help us pray in Thanksgiving at all times. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Peace be with you

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8 NIV

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 NIV

We are all called to the peace in Christ, a peace which only He can give, a peace that the world cannot take away. But one can experience this peace only if you accept Christ and believe that in him alone Hope is found, and through him alone you can reach the promised land. We all belong to one body and that is the body of Christ which has been raised to Eternal life.

I pray that God our Father bestows upon you His everlasting Peace through his Son Jesus whom you accept as your Lord and Savior. And may His Holy Spirit keep your hearts close to God. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Commision and Ommision

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
Deuteronomy 6:6 NIV

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
John 13:34 NIV

When Jesus summed up the commandments, he gave us a commandment 'to do'. The ten commandments have do's and don't, but we often focus on the don't forgetting that not doing something is also failing to obey. When we do what we are called to, it gives us a greater stance of keeping away from that we ought not too. And let us not forget while one can atone for wrong done deliberately, one cannot get back the opportunity to do good that one could have, should have, but did not.

I pray that God our Father moves your heart to his will so that you walk relentlessly in ways of His son Jesus taking the good news to all as his Holy Spirit strengthens this your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Jesus our Redeemer

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Genesis 3:6 NIV

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
1 John 1:8 NIV

Sin has been within us since the first disobedience. It was this sin that separated us from God. Jesus restored that broken relationship by braking his body on the cross. However not many then and even now, accept the Salvation He brings. The need to be saved will arise only when you are in aware of the need, and that need arises when you are aware that sin is within and the only way to take away the sin, is to eat His broken body which has been given as a ransom for our sins.

I pray that God our loving father bestows on the grace so that you acknowledge the need of his son Jesus for your salvation and may His Holy Spirit bless and keep you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to Share the Good News

The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice.
Psalm 97:1 NIV

When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
Luke 2:17‭-‬18 NIV

When you fill a cup to its brim, there is no more space within and as you continue to fill it, the cup will overflow. Something similar happens when you encounter God, his love is something that is constantly being poured on you, except that now you are aware. His Love begins to fill you and you realize that nothing else can fill you the way God does. Soon your cup begins to overflow and that's when you begin to share the love, joy, and peace you've found with Him. Ever noticed some people change and all they seem to do is talk about God, well they haven't gone coocoo, it's the Love of God that's overflowing in their hearts as they share the good news.

I pray that God our Loving Father fills you with His unconditional Love and may Jesus touch your heart making you aware of this Love as His Holy Spirit speaks to you through Gods word. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones. :)

Called to Humility

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:3 NIV

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people."
Luke 2:10 NIV

The Good News came first to the shepherds, who were watching their flock at night. The kings came in later which only tells us, that God is seeking our humility. The mind is a very powerful organ that human beings posses, sometimes falsely attributing itself to be invincible. But we ought to remember that the invincibility will only last, till the mind does. The life cycle of a human being goes from a dependent baby to a dependent elderly life and life comes a full circle. The more we are dependent on God the more will hear from him, and the more we hear from him, the more we live our life in abundance, the key however, remains in our calling to Humility.

I pray that you open your heart to receive the Love of God our Father as you humble yourself like his son Jesus in all that he did. And may his Holy Spirit give you the grace and wisdom in your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God Gift for Chirstmas!!!

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
Ephesians 2:8

On Christmas Day, we all look forward to gifts, but the best gifts have already been given to us by God our Loving Father. In fact, Christmas day should be a reminder of these gift to us. The first gift came in the manger when the Divine came to life in Human form, the same Human form that was created in the image and likeness of the Divine, a mystery we’re still yet to fathom. Our very existence here on earth in Human form is a gift from God for we are made in His image and likeness. The second gift is the very reason the babe was born, he was born to give us life, in all its abundance here on earth and eternal life in His Kingdom. And that was his purpose, to be a ransom for many.

We all have a part to play in the Salvation story. And that is to make the world aware of these precious gifts from God. Love it was that made us and love it was that saved us. God's gift to us, is His LOVE.

I pray that this Christmas Day, may God our Loving Father draw you closer to his son Jesus Christ so that you may experience unconditional, pure and holy love, as His Holy Spirit dwells upon you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God Loves You

Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
Genesis 2:1 NIV

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NIV

God loves you. This is the ultimate truth of life and the sooner you accept this truth, the more you find yourself living a life of abundance and the world doesn't seem to be as bad as we ought to think of it. We begin to empathize with the world rather than criticize it. This is all part of God's plan to save the world, but in order to save the world we need to be saved and the only way to be saved is to accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. For in doing so we accept humbly the gift of God's Love

I pray that you experience this day the love of God our Father, through his son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and may their love draw you closer to the life you're called to live as you surrender your path to His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

23 December 2016

Gods timing is for a reason

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
Luke 2:6‭-‬7 NIV

Time was created by God, He knows and understands every nano second of time. He also knows the best time for you as He did for Jesus. When the time came for Jesus, he was born in a manger. Why would a King who existed before time come into existence this way?

God's ways are not our ways, nor are our thoughts like His(Isaiah 55:8). God desires mercy, He came to save. Therefore He came in simplicity so that we could understand that God is Love and wants to establish a relationship with us and not treat his people like subjects as other kings. So know that where you are in your life at this point in time is governed by God's Grace. You may have made a choice and are in a mess, or you maybe onward to a new journey. The key is to trust God and act accordingly as you will see that God's timing is for a reason.

I pray that God our Father bestows upon you His Grace to see his unconditional Love in the Sacrifice of His only Son Jesus, who took up the cross to make you God's heir in Him. And May His Holy Spirit open the eyes of you Heart as you earnestly seek God. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones  :)

Give your Heart to God

A voice of one calling: “In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Isaiah 40:3 NIV

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:21 NIV

As we approach the birthday of our Lord, have we prepared well for the coming of our Saviour. The beauty about Jesus is that, He is concerned with you and you are all that matters. Is the same with you, when it comes to Jesus ?

Jesus is not coming to take away your fun, He made you in a particular way and that is your identity in Him. Most often we get lost along the way because of influences, but we ought to know that God doesn't look at the exterior. He looks at our hearts and God wants us to be more Human in our hearts, and this means to be dependent on God and to be compassionate to our neighbors. Know that this Christmas God is looking for a place to be born, the inns are full and He has no place to go. Be the manger to the Lord, as you give God your heart.

I pray that God our Father gives you the Grace as you prepare your heart for His son Jesus, knowing that you are called to be part of his Kingdom. And may His Holy Spirit strengthen your will and endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

21 December 2016

Let God Decide...

In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:6 NIV

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
Luke 1:38 NIV

There are often times where we find ourselves at the crossroads of life, especially at times when it comes to making important decisions. A single choice can alter the course your life forever. Yes, we have our free will to choose, But can we in our human wisdom make the choices we ought too,  how then should one decide?

Submit your ways to God and He will make your path clear. Mary was given a choice and she chose what God wanted for her. We may want different things in life, but we ought to remember that God has our best interest in His choice, therefore when it comes to making important decisions in your life. Let God decide.

I pray that you submit to God our Father every dream, desire and plans you have and like Jesus may you seek His will in all that you do and may His Holy Spirit guard and guide you all the days of your life. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

20 December 2016

God our Comforter

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 NIV

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort...
2 Corinthians 1:3 NIV

The only thing you will get from God when you turn to Him, is His Love, because God is Love(1 John 4:8) and love as we not know it is only concerned about the other.(1 Cor. 13: 4-8) Which is why we are loved so unconditionally. Sin destroyed our relationship with God but through Jesus our relationship has been restored for God didn't send his son to judge his people but to save them. So no matter where you are in your life at this point in time, no matter how you feel about yourself, no matter what the world thinks about you. Know that God loves you and wants to comfort you as He wants you to be a part of his plan.

I pray that God our Father comforts you with His gentle and loving nature, may you find Hope that your place in heaven is secured by Jesus and may His Holy Spirit be light to your path. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

19 December 2016

The Best Place for Rest

Are not my few days almost over? Turn away from me so I can have a moment’s joy
Job 10:20 NIV

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28 NIV

You may feel time is running out on you, the long unending journey hasn't been easy,
it's taken a fair share of toll on you. In moments of weakness you may have even fallen.
But God knows it all, for He came to save us. He convicts, but doesn't condemn us.
He is the hope for the hopeless, He is light in darkness.
He is Christ our Savior and King.
So if you've been hurting for a while,
and have forgotten how to smile.
Christ calls to give you the best,
for only in Him you will find your rest.

I pray that God our Father comforts you in life's trouble through his Son Jesus Christ in whom there is Abundant life. And may His Holy Spirit give you courage and hope to persevere in your calling. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

18 December 2016

God speaks to us all

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, a young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel.
Isiah 7:14

But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

Matthew 1:20-21

The Lord knows what you want and what you need. You might feel perhaps God does not understand your situation, make no make mistake about that, for God himself was incarnate in human nature and he understands every aspect. When Mary was found to be with child, what do you think might have happened? We're told that Joseph wanted to dismiss her quietly, but it also meant that his family would have known about the incident. How would they look at Mary ? What might have Mary gone through in that moment?
And this is where we know that God knows and understands us better than we do ourselves. In the given situation it would have been very difficult for Mary to defend herself which is why God spoke to Joseph through an Angel. It was a sign Joseph saw very clearly because he was a just man and trusted in God. And God speaks to each one of us too, all we need to do is be open to what he has to say, and God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

I pray that God our Father reveal to you the plan He has for you and may you be like Jesus obedient to all that the Father asks of you and may His Holy Spirit strengthen you in this your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

17 December 2016

See like God sees

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
Genesis 4:7 NIV

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?..”
Matthew 7:3 NIV

It is very easy to be judgemental about someone, and this perspective is shown to us at the very beginning in the story of Cain and Abel, perhaps that's why Jesus tells us that we if have anything against our brother or sister, we will be subject to judgment (Mat 5:22). So how must I look at everyone?

In love and kindness, or simply put the way you'd want everyone to look at you, especially God our Father. We are given many examples in the new testament, time and again the Pharisees and scribes had their own perspective be it at the women caught in adultery or as told to us in the story of the rich king who forgave his servants' debts. We are taught by Jesus himself that He sees Love and Mercy. Who are we to judge then? The best barometer to adjudge one's self then, is best summed up in words of Carl Jung "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves."

I pray that God our Father gives you the grace, wisdom, and understanding as you surrender unto him every situation. Like Jesus may you see the world with eyes of love despite its condemnation of you and may His Holy Spirit be your guiding force. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

16 December 2016

The Peace of Hope

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NIV

For we live by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 NIV

There are two kinds of peace, one is the peace of sin, and the other the peace of Hope. When you are in sin, the enemy will try his best to keep you at ease and tell you lies that it's ok to be where you are. On the other hand, the Spirit of God will constantly nudge you to the hope that is there in Christ. Now this can be a Lil' unsettling if you are accustomed to your old ways. However, we are called to trust in the plans God has for us. It may seem or be tough, but know that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, for He resisted and overcame temptations not just in the desert but even on the cross. No matter what God asks of you, know that the peace of hope in Christ is something the world cannot give nor can they take it away.

I pray that God our Father through his Son Jesus brings to you the peace of Hope, so that you can see the goodness of His love for you as you see the plans and purpose He has for you. May His Holy Spirit help you discern that everlasting Peace. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

15 December 2016

The Will of God

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Micah 6:8 NIV

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
1 John 5:14‭-‬15 NIV

Come to think of it, most times in our conversations(prayers) with God we are constantly asking, not to say that is a bad thing, as a child, you will ask your parents for what you need. But because you are with them, you enjoy each others company. Why not enjoy Gods company then?

It's very simple, God does not demand much, all he asks is to love him and serve him, that's the first. The second is to love your neighbour as yourself, principally if we come to do this. We will be doing His will. And when you do God's will, you can ask for whatever you need. Our God is a generous Father, He will not only provide all your needs, He will take care of every wants too. All we have to do is his will.

I pray that you discern the will God our Father has for you, and like Jesus may you find joy in obedience, thus receiving all that you ask for. And may his Holy Spirit be with you always. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

14 December 2016

God is in Control

In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.
Proverbs 16:9 NIV

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34 NIV

As human beings the one thing we like the most is, to be in control. We like to control everything, be it our work, our money, our relationships, we want to have it all under our control. But have you tried grasping sand in your hand? The tighter you hold it, the more it slips away, and something similar happens when we try to control what God wants to establish in our life. The more we think we are in control, the more its seems to slip away. Do you find yourself wanting to be in control?

If yes, then stop right now. Can you control the rains? Can you control the waves ? Can you control a whirlwind? No, you can't, but Jesus can, even the wind and seas obey him (Mat 8:27). You might be at a situation at work or maybe you're trying to work out relationship. The more you try and worry about it, the more mind-space it takes in your head, the more mind-space it takes, the bigger your problems appear. So stop holding on so tight and know that God is in control.

I pray that God our Father establishes yours steps as you walk in the righteousness of his son Jesus Christ. Knowing fully that God's love and grace that is sufficient for you. And May his Holy Spirit guide you in accordance to his will. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

13 December 2016

Let Gods Word Guide You

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
Psalm 32:8

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16 ‭NIV

We often find ourselves at crossroads unable to decide on which path we are to take, but even crossroads have signals and it all depends on which side of the road you are. But what if there are no signals and your very journey has come to a standstill?

Fear not for God is close, He will not only tell you which path to take, he will walk along with you. Because that is who He is, and that is all that He wants, You. We seldom refer to the word of God when we are at the crossroads of our life because we are busy trying to figure out how to answer our own prayer. God is very clear about his word, for it his word that became flesh and has won for us victory over everything, even death. So if you are looking for answers, let God's word guide you.

I pray that you put all you hope and trust in the word that comes from God our Father in Christ Jesus, that every step you take may be as he instructs you and may his Holy Spirit help you discern all thoughts, words, and deeds. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

12 December 2016

Don't Give Up

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9 NIV

It may seem like the end of the horizon which you can only see, but never seem to reach. You keep praying and doing what you supposed to do and yet, it feels like God is not answering your prayer. And the temptation to give up seems more promising than an answered prayer, what does one do in a situation like that?

You persist and keep on for at the proper time, your prayer will be answered. God knows you better than you know yourself. Like when you're praying for a job, you may think that a particular job is good for you, but God knows the company and how would you fit in, He knows the plans He has for you and in his time, He will make it beautiful. All you need to do is trust him as you continue your prayer of petition and simultaneously do your bit in whatever situation you are. For when the time is right you will see the hand of God in every little action, until then Don't Give Up.

I pray that you trust God our Father to answer your prayers in His time and like Jesus be obedient unto him. May His Holy Spirit strengthen your will and give the grace to persevere in your calling. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

11 December 2016

Be Wise, yet Be Innocent

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Genesis 3:6 NIV

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Galatians 6:1 NIV

We are all called to evangelize, and once we are born in the faith it becomes a desire in our heart to do so, but there is catch and one ought to be very careful, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces(Eph 6:12) that can deceive even the ones closest to God. The question then arises that do we stop evangelizing or should we change our personality?

Jesus said, "seeing I am sending you out like sheep among wolves, so be shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves" (Mat 10:16), quite a contrast that, snakes and doves, wolves and sheep. But God knows every being, cos he has made them. He made the snake shrewd, but the snake acts to its own accord, which is why the enemy used the serpent to tempt Eve, that it compelled her to give into temptation thus committing sin. When you do God's work you don't rely on your own strength, you rely on Jesus, for He overcame every temptation in the dessert, likewise when Jesus spoke the Gospel, He proclaimed God's Love and Mercy. Therefore Be Wise, yet Be Innocent

I pray to God our Father, that you walk in the path chosen for you in Christ Jesus our Saviour and Lord, that every step you take may bring you and all you encounter closer to God, and in this, your endeavor may you be guided and guarded by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

10 December 2016

Are you living the Truth?

"You shall have no other gods before me."
Exodus 20:3 NIV

They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Romans 1:25 NIV

Our average day revolves around every thing that's concerned with us. Sadly this has been manifested and amplified by influencers, the media and everything that impacts us. We are constantly told that we have to get better and bigger, we've got to strive more, so we can get more. But is this really the Truth?

Unfortunately not, just because something is being screamed from mountain tops doesn't make it the truth. The truth remains the truth even in a whisper. And the truth is, God wants you to love him and love your neighbor as you would love yourself. Ambition is good, but when it's motivated by selfishness, it becomes greed, and greed is a sin. No ambition or material pleasure can fill the void in us,  only Jesus can. Once you are full, the love will overflow and the world will know you are Christians by your love.

I pray that you experience this day, the enormous and unfathomable love of God our Father through his Son Jesus, who has purchased for you the reward of salvation. May his Holy Spirit gently nudge you to His life of abundance. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

When Jesus say Yes, nobody can say No

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 NIV

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Matthew 28:18 NIV

It is written (Jeremiah 10:6Luke 1:31-33John 14:12-14John 16:23-24Acts 3:16Acts 4:12Philippians 2:9-111 John 4:4) that there is power in the name of Jesus, yes even His name has power, can you even imagine the power, the honour and the glory that has been bestowed on Jesus, simply put it sums to; When Jesus says yes, nobody can say No. All of this because Jesus first said Yes to the Father, who in turn bestowed him with all this power. How then can you get Jesus to say yes?

By saying yes to him, yes to his teaching and keep his commandments. You might think that you are doing all this but you still have unanswered prayers, Is Jesus saying no, no. All that Jesus is saying is, "trust me, because I know what is good for you, listen to me". Sometimes the best way to adjudicate a situation you find yourself in is to simply ask what would Jesus do? Slowly you will start to understand what it is to say yes to Jesus. It might not be easy but surely it is not impossible for Jesus in his Human nature has over come it all. And once you do, you will see Jesus' Yes in your prayer and Nobody can say no.

I pray that you say Yes to God our Father in Christ Jesus as you submit your will into His hands and may His Holy Spirit rest upon you leading you to live of fulfillment. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

08 December 2016

God Heads, Man Tails

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
Deuteronomy 7:6 NIV

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
Luke 1:38 NIV

A coin is not complete by a side alone, it has two sides. And so it is with life because that's how it was designed. The choice on earth, however, is with us and what we do will bear eternal consequences, for in Mary's Yes, we encountered God in the form of Man, and in the person of Jesus he overcame everything that would separate us from God eternally. He not only walked the path but also showed us how to walk; in Love and Faith. So how do we respond to God's favor?

We let God take the reigns, for God knows what's good for us, but he doesn't want to give you just good, He wants to give you the best, which is why He chose you from the very beginning. We all make mistakes, but God does not, and that's why He is constantly calling. When you give the reigns by saying let it be done to me according to your word, you complete the coin thus bringing value not just momentarily but eternally.

I pray that you submit your life to God our Father, who has made you his heir in Christ Jesus his son and may His Holy Spirit give you the wisdom and understanding to seek his ways. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones.

There's Word in a Sword

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10 NIV

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Have you ever observed, that every time you take a step closer to God, there is an obstacle that will come your way, it could be a thought word or deed and suddenly all the peace your experiencing seems to fade away? All the efforts you've made seem in vain, and then your focus shifts and your back to the same. This could happen at any point in time of your spiritual journey Ever wondered Why?

When you get closer to God it makes the enemy very unhappy because in the old you are at peace with sin. However, it's God Grace that keeps calling out to you and when you answer His call you reject and renounce the Enemy and Sin. But He's not the one to quit easily, remember He went after Jesus, not once or twice, but three times. And What did Jesus do, he fought with the enemy, with the most powerful weapon: The word of God. And as scripture says, "Then the devil left him and angels came and attended him. (Mat 4:11) So next time you identify yourself in battle, put on the full armor of God and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Ephesians 6:10-17)

I pray that trusting the every word of God our Father you put on His full armor and like and with Jesus overcome everything that comes your way and may his Holy Spirit fortify you in this your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Obedience comes with Love

And if we are careful to obey all this law before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.
Deuteronomy 6:25 NIV

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
John 14:23 NIV

You do not obey God because you fear him, He is not the boogie man, you were scared with as a child. God is Love, and out of his love we were made, in his image and likeness. The greatest of all commandments, given to us is; to love God with all our heart, soul & mind and that translates to beyond measure. So how does loving God beyond measure translate to obedience?

In the physical realm, we'd feel the most love for our parents, spouse and/or kids. Will you at any point in time hurt them intentionally or even unintentionally? We respect our parents for all that they have done for us as the best they could. We share of ourselves with our spouse and children are a part of us, we love them so much that it's hard to even imagine, hurting them. Similarly, if we truly love God beyond measure we will obey him. For disobedience hurts God and in our right senses, we wouldn't want to hurt the ones we love.

I pray that you love and trust God our Father just that way he does in you as He won for you salvation through his son Jesus and may his Holy Spirit bind you in Love and Wisdom. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God will fulfill his promises

The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
Jeremiah 1:12 NIV

Blessed is she who has believed that the lord would fulfill his promises to her!
Luke 1:45 NIV

We know that God has placed in our hearts desires, He has blessed us with Talents and He has plans for our future and not harm. Yet how do we know what God wants from us, God spoke to so many people earlier, why doesn't he talk to me?

Well, God talks to all of us, sometimes directly and sometimes indirectly, the key is to not only hear, but also to listen. There is enough of noise in the world; sin, suffering, and circumstances are all on high decibels, thus making you hear a lot of sounds. But when you listen, you pay attention and cancel out the noise. That's wherein you will see Gods promise to you and know that God is watching every little move, to bring to fulfillment his promise. God has never failed on his promise from the lamb given to Abraham to Jesus the true lamb of God. That's God promise to you for eternal life, however in order for his promises to be fulfilled in your life, you have to let go of the reigns and give it all to Him; your plans, your thoughts, your will, and your life.

I pray that as your surrender to the will of God our Father, may he reveal to you the plans and promise He has for you through his son Jesus and may His Holy Spirit guide to the fulfillment of these promises. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Your Prayer: His Will

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 NIV

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
1 John 5:14 NIV

We all have desires in our hearts, desire to get good jobs, desire for good relationships, desire to lead a good life. But where did those desires come from? They came from Him who made you. You didn't just get the desires, He gave you talents and skills to achieve the same. However, we're always in a hurry to accomplish it all and are making decisions without discerning the will of God, only to find ourselves with prayers unanswered and questioning God, Why?

Well God knew you before He formed you, He knit you together specifically, for He has plans for you, so isn't it obvious then if He has made you with a purpose, only his purpose will bring you true Joy and Peace. Therefore as you pray every day, your prayer should simply be "Lord not mine, but thy will be done." Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)

I pray that you put your complete Trust in God our Father and like Jesus may your prayer always be to do the Father's will as His Holy Spirit helps you discern and guide you to a life of fruition. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God wants your heart

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

"but few things are needed—or indeed only one.  Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
Luke 10:42 NIV

There are many debates as to which is the most important organ in the human body, read: Brain Vs Heart, my conclusion is you can still be alive if your brain dead, but the moment your heart stops beating it's all over, so that makes your heart the most important and God wants, your heart. He is the one who's made it, He is the one who has placed it there, He is the one who makes it beat. However as human we relate less to God with matters of the heart, for our hearts desire everything else. Every thought you'd find God ?

Well you can... All you have to do is seek him, and how? with all your heart, for God himself desires this (Jer 24:7) And on when you find Him, be rest assured, that nothing can separate you from him nor will it be taken away from you.

I pray that you seek God our Father with all your heart through Jesus Christ his son and may His Holy Spirit surround and sustain you with the love that comes from God. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Let it be done

Abram believed the Lord , and he credited it to him as righteousness.
Genesis 15:6 NIV

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”
Mathew 9:29 NIV

We all want miracles in our life, we all want all the problems to end, we all want everything to be alright. But gold is tested in fire, for its purest form survives all the flames. So how do we survive the flame of testing and know that God is in control of everything even when it doesn't seem so?

We look through the eyes of Faith, not blind faith but real faith. Faith in knowing that there is a God and you can count and trust on completely, Faith that is established by a relationship of trust and communication.  Take a moment to yourself, you been through many trying times, times where you've thought its the worse you can take and perhaps might not survive, but that moment is in the past now, and you are a stronger and better person than before, all this because God was in control, as you believed in yourself and Him who made you. So long as we allow God to take control of everything despite the circumstances; what He wills, will be done, according to your faith.

I pray that in the foundation of love, trust, and faith, you surrender yourself to God our Father as He makes you his heir through his Son Jesus Christ and may His Holy Spirit, strengthen the bond of this relationship. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Wait on Him, patiently...

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him...
Psalm 37:7 NIV

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 NIV

God's will has a purpose and it has a time, and when the time is right, it will come to fruition. It takes a baby nine months to be formed within her mother's womb, anything before nine months is called premature, that before time and that baby needs special care and attention and is put in an incubator, which is a foster environment of her mother's womb so it's back again to prep mode. The interim of the wait for any prayer is prep mode for us. Why?

It is because God knows what's best for us more than we do ourselves. We only have to trust God just like Jesus did. Jesus came into this world to bring salvation, but it took him 30 years before He set out on his mission. Was Jesus in a hurry? No. Mary stood by the cross as Jesus gave up his life, Was she in hurry to doubt God's promise? No, all they did was trust God and wait patiently for him to act, for in his time He will make all things beautiful.

I pray that you experience this day the overflowing Love of God our Father through his Son Jesus as you wait on Him, patiently. And May His Holy Spirit strengthen your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Putting God First

For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord , my confidence since my youth.
Psalm 71:5‭ NIV

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Mathew 6:33 NIV

I very vividly remember a race in kindergarten, we had to tie our shoelaces and run. Mom said, "Just make the sign of the cross and run.." and on 'Go' I did just that, and boy what a victory it was, coming first and receiving a trophy can light up anyone's day or perhaps a lifetime. The point is the focus, at that point, my focus was not tying the lace or finish line, it was on making the sign of the cross. Off course, I did practice tying my laces and running and it all fell in place. Our God is a Good and He always wants the best for you, but the question is do you want the best for yourself?

If Yes, then you put God first in everything, not to say that you don't do anything, You have to do your bit. If Faith is blind, where do you think it will lead you? Faith is based on trust and trust is built over time as a relationship grows. The more your relationship grows with God the more you will realize that you can trust him and the more you trust in Him the more your Faith increases. And you will realize that He is all that matters, for when He comes first everything that is his, is given to you.

I pray that you experience the love of God our Father, and build a solid relationship with him through his Son Jesus. And May His Holy Spirit be with you always.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Discerning the will of God

The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
1 Samuel 3:10 NIV

“Abba ,  Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Mark 14:36 NIV

We are all anxious in life and therefore we are constantly seeking answers in some form or the other. We want God to talk to us and tell us everything He knows about our life. The idea of being vulnerable in a definitive and tangible world is very uncomforting. Lest we forget that though God promised Abraham a son, it took a while for Issac to be born. God told Noah to build the Arch, but He didn't tell him how many days he would have to stay locked in with all kinds of Animals. The last mention of God speaking(through his Angel) to Mary was at the annunciation, but nothing after that. But in Faith they all lived and trusted God with all his plans, so how do we know what God specifically wants us to do?

God has given us instructions in the ten commandments and Jesus summarizes them into two(Mark 12:30-31). Now, this is the pathway we are all called to take for when you are on this path, you accept Gods grace to work for you and when you are open to his graces, it is His will that is established in your life. No matter who you are, or where you are at this point in time, in the words of Neil T Anderson "know that the will of God will not take you where the grace of God cannot keep you" and when you live with Faith God will specifically direct your path to his will.

I pray that you are able to listen to God our Father as He speaks to your heart through his son Jesus, as you entrust your will into His. And may His Holy Spirit guide to the path of fruition. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)
