Open my eyes Lord

As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them; but they were kept from recognizing him.

While in life you may go through instances where the glory of God is manifested, you might not recognise the same with lukewarm faith. Be watchful in eagerness and in an expectant hope for Christ is always with you.

Hope in the Lord

Fear of the Lord is true wisdom, and let this wisdom teach you expectant hope. For when the storms and floods are high, Jesus will hold your hand and keep you calm.

God is Good

You cannot fight or repulse God, it is only wise to graciously​ accept His Goodness, for everything that God does is Good.

Chose God

Obedience comes at a price and the first one to pay it was Jesus. When given a choice, chose God rather than man.

Called to share

The Good Shepherd

It is the bond of a relationship grown in love that recognises your own. Just like a baby knows it's mother, the sheep know the shepherd.

The Called are Qualified

Each one of us is called to share the good news knowing fully that Jesus does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

The Cornerstone

If you ever feel rejected, know that Jesus was rejected first. But God turned his rejection into a foundation for all humanity.

There is power in the name of Jesus, for He is the eternal word and He is the Christ - redeemer of the world. When you call in Him, He will answer.

Born Again in Christ

Everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die. The truth is death does not have power anymore, for death has been conquered by Christ. And in dying to ourselves we are born again in Christ.

I pray that God our Father gives you the grace to draw closer to his son Jesus, so that you can be born again to anew life. And may his Holy Spirit be with you till the end of age. Amen

Gods ways

The Sovereign LORD will destroy death for ever! He will wipe away the tears from everyone's eyes and take away the disgrace his people have suffered throughout the world. The LORD himself has spoken!

The Good about Good Friday

Obedient even unto death on a cross, that is how much Christ loved his father and willingly accepted his will. It wasn't an easy choice perhaps for both; Father and son, yet it was necessary as God's love is about giving unconditionally, giving till the very end and bringing forth new life. Good Friday is Good because it brings hope; hope for eternal life, and that was earned as Christ gave himself up.

I pray that God our Father reveals to you through his son Jesus the hope, the joy, the plans and the salvation he has for you. And May his Holy Spirit keep you rooted in God at all times. Amen

What a privilege to be chosen by God! And God gives this privilege to each one of us knowing fully that we are not perfect, knowing fully there can be a morning where might even deny him, yet He will wait with open arms for you to make the choice, of choosing him over everything else.

I pray that through the grace and love of God our Father, you willing choose to accept his son as the Lord and Saviour of your life. And may his Holy Spirit strength the conviction of this your choice. Amen

Come down from the cross Jesus was told. How easy it would have been for him​ to come down. But hanging there in the midst of pain and agony He knew you and me. And that is what kept him there.

I pray that the love God our Father has showered on you in the sacrifice of his son Jesus pierces your heart and sets it on fire for the cause of Christ. And may his Holy Spirit keep the fire burning at all times. Amen

Gods Promises Fulfilled

Actually, he did not say this of his own accord; rather, as he was High Priest that year, he was prophesying that Jesus was going to die for the Jewish people, and not only for them but also to bring together into one body all the scattered people of God.

Whenever God has made a promise He has fulfilled it. Many times we get stuck with the circumstances of life, missing the point that God is preparing a way, For God's ways are not our ways. And He who began the good works in you will bring it to fruition in His time.

When you make the Lord your God the foundation of your life, your life will only stand tall to bear testimony to the Glory of God. And no matter how the hard the trials may seem, know that the will of God will not take you to where the Grace of God cannot keep you.

I pray that you find the innermost joy in all that God our Father wills for you just as He will the salvation of men through his son Jesus. May his Holy Spirit be a source of constant inspiration and guidance. Amen

Abraham not only believed but also trusted and obeyed the word of God. There is a secret to this Faith of his and that is what Jesus explains, we are all called to live in and by God's word, for when we truly have the word of God in us, we have eternal life.

Sin is slavery, and a slave is always bound, because of fear. Whereas in freedom from slavery there is nothing to fear. Jesus is our freedom from the slavery of sin. When we let the word of God sink deep into our being and submit ourselves to be led by his Spirit, we find our freedom.

Everything we know about God's unconditional Love, Mercy and Grace is true, and this knowledge leads us to the comforting fact that through Jesus Christ we have been saved. But the truth is, we are saved only if we believe in His death and resurrection. We are saved when we depend on his grace and sin no more. We are saved, only when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

I pray that God our Father in his unconditional Love give you the grace to believe and accept Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of your life. May his Holy Spirit give you the wisdom and understanding of this acceptance. Amen

God's Grace is Sufficient

God Grace works beyond are thinking and imagination, for God’s ways are not our ways. And Grace is received in Humility, which only comes when we have totally and completely surrendered to God. For though the road may seem a dead end, the grace of god will turn it into a bend, thus giving you the grace to go your way.

I pray that you yield to God our Father in total and complete surrender, just like Jesus did at all times, knowing fully that with the Father all things are possible. And may his Holy Spirit, stir up in you God grace to help you choose all that God wills for you. Amen

Jesus not only raised Lazarus from the dead, He raises us to, every time we die to sin, life is found in Christ alone. For on the cross, Jesus died to take away our sin. If you feel in life you’ve reached a point where it’s impossible to turn around. Know that it had been four days to Lazarus death, yet Jesus was not late. For nothing is impossible with God.

I pray that you know your life is a gift from God our Father who has sent you into this world for a purpose, just like He did send Jesus. May His Holy Spirit guard and guide you along the way. Amen
