Hope in Christ

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Reflection: 

While we wait in Hope for Christ to return in all his Glory, we ought to be prepared, for it will happen in his time.

Prayer: 

God our Father Thank you for calling me to a Hope in Jesus Christ, that cannot be taken away. May your Holy Spirit give me the wisdom and patience to await joyfully.

Co-heirs with Christ

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Reflection:

We are children of God because he has made and saved us through his son Jesus. Therefore we are not just heirs, but co-heirs with Christ.

Loving God

When you love God with all you have, there is nothing that you won't do for him. You will keep and honour his commandments.

Learning to Discern

Reflection:

We live in grey times and convenience today, while some of the actions are condemned, some other we justify. But if we keep ourselves open to be led by God, we will differentiate better.

Redeemed by Christ

Reflection:

It's very clear, sin brings death but through Christ, we are redeemed.

While the world lives as Lukewarm Christians, awaiting Christ, but not preparing for his second coming. We are called to live the gospel in the truest sense, with our hearts burning for the Lord.

God our Father Thank you for revealing to me the hope and salvation that comes from your son Jesus. May my life reflect your grace as your Holy Spirit abounds in me. Amen

Grace

Law was introduced in order to increase wrongdoing; but where sin increased, God's grace increased much more.

God's grace is beyond man's understanding, yet it is the same grace that brings a man to God's ways.

Called to Eternal life

We are the Handiwork of God, we are his creation, therefore God does all that he can to preserve the life he has given us.

Acknowledge God

Reflection:

God wants us to be his by our own will, therefore we ought to acknowledge him at all times. He who is the creator of all creation, for we are sustained not by our words or deeds but by the grace of God.

God our Father Thank you for making me courageous to proclaim all that you've done for me. Like Jesus may I bear witness to your word which is life. And may your Holy Spirit help to discern my decisions. Amen

Who really can count the hairs on your head? Only God can, and He has done so because you are his creation and are valuable to him.

Obeying the word of God

Reflection:In our world of casualness, it's very easy to overlook the word of God, perhaps that's why Jesus stresses the importance not only listening but also obeying the word of God.

Building A Kingdom

Reflection:
For a kingdom to stand it cannot be divided by itself. As Christians we all are brothers and sisters in Christ, let us focus on the unity in Christ.

Ask, Seek and Knock

Reflection:

Everything that God has created is for us, however, we've got to ask him to give it to us according to his will.

Reflection:

Jesus himself has taught how to pray. When you feel stuck or lost or don't feel like praying, dare yourself to pray in words Jesus gave.

God our Father Hallowed be thy name, give us this day the bread of life in Jesus your son. And may your Holy Spirit keep us away from all temptations. Amen

Choosing Christ

Reflection:

We may be troubled or in a complex situation, but the Lord says to us as he says to Martha, that we ought to choose him and keep our focus there.

God our Father Thank you for enabling me to choose your son Jesus, may the peace and joy he bring be with me always and ay your Holy Spirit guide and gaurd my path. Amen

God wants us to be like him, in all our ways.

In God's word, we find our hope, our joy, our purpose. Even Mary did. Let this be our prayer, that all be done in our life according to God's word.

Each one of us is carrying the burden of worry, sin, and disappointments. Jesus invites us to let go of these... Are we willing to accept his invitation?
