Made one in Christ

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value, Leviticus 27:2 NIV

You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:20 NIV

For God so loved the world, that He sent down his son to die, so that we may live. Jesus came as God's covenant to Man. Because God had promised salvation and since God promised salvation, only He could provide. He made this provision with a very heavy price. Therefore it is only right and just that we not only submit our will, but also our hearts, our minds and our bodies to God our Father who made us one with Christ by paying a ransom for our sins with His Son Jesus' life.

I pray that you find the grace to submit yourself entirely to the Love of God our Father just like His Son Jesus did, for in doing so you meet your purpose for life. And may His Holy Spirit help discern your ways. Amen.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to God's Acceptance

But the Lord was gracious to them and had compassion and showed concern for them because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To this day he has been unwilling to destroy them or banish them from his presence.
2 Kings 13:23 NIV

When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 19:30 NIV

God's promise of acceptance of Man is not based on man's deed or doing. It is because You were made by Him and for Him. No matter who you are, where you are from or what you've been thru, God accepts you for who you are.
For when Christ sighed "it is finished" He had accomplished the price of an eternal covenant of the acceptance of Man and with that He gave himself up to be accepted by God the Father.

I pray that you feel belonged to the love that comes from God our Father, and like Jesus may you accomplish his will for you, and in doing so may His Holy Spirit guide and guard you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God's Love Endures Forever

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:5 NIV

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38‭-‬39 NIV

We are God's children, and He loves us more than we could ever love our own selves. He loves us because He is infinitely good, He loves us because He is Love. There is nothing, absolutely nothing that can keep us away from the love of God, He has, He does and He always will. The choice however is with us, to accept or reject His love based on our free will. But we ought to know and remember that out perfect happiness is in sync with God's will in our lives.

I pray that Love of God our Father give you the Grace to accept His like His Son Jesus and may His Holy Spirit strengthen your answer to his call. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Foundation in God

So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, and they stopped building the city.
Genesis 11:8 NIV

He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots.  Leave them; they are blind guides.  If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
Matthew 15:13‭-‬14 NIV

For a structure to stand tall and strong, it's foundation needs to be the same; deep and well built, that is what will give the structure it's core strength. And likewise it is with Faith, we have to build a foundation first, a foundation in God. Because we are not called to give of ourselves, we are called give what He gives to us, because we can do all things thru Christ who strengthens us. But if we do not accept from Him, what is that we give then?

I pray that you accept the will of God our Father in building you up like His Son Jesus, ready to accept your cross, and may His Holy Spirit strengthen you at all times. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Made New in Christ

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.
Deuteronomy 7:6 NIV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

We didn't find God, but in His goodness God chose to reveal himself to us. For he loves us like no one else can or ever will. For even though we were born in the faith, we wandered away, but God was there, ahead of time, along the way. Now that we have been saved we ought to know that we are a new creation and made new in Him, for our past couldn't be erased by sheep skin or wool, it required the blood of righteousness. And as blood and water flowed from his side we have been washed, made clean and born again a new in Christ - The Righteous Lamb of God.

I pray that God our Father reveal to you his Grace of you being a new creation in His Son Jesus and may His Holy Spirit always be by your side to strengthen, to guard and to guide you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Peace be with you

“I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country..."
Leviticus 26:6 NIV

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
John 20:19 NIV

The one thing in the world that we are all longing for is 'Peace'. Come to think of it; with trains of thought constantly on your mind, when were you last able to look at a situation without a tint in perspective. God knew that from the very beginning, which is why Jesus always greeted everyone with Peace. The world is much more complex today than what it was 2000 years ago and the need for peace much more. Can we then surrender to the Prince of Peace; Jesus, for He brings to us peace that the world cannot give, nor can the world take it away.

I pray that God our Father calms your heart and may your soul, mind and body find rest in Jesus Christ who gave himself up for you. And may His Holy Spirit sustain you at all times. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to a Purpose

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13‭-‬14 NIV

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32 NIV

For He who began the good work in you, began it in you, way before you were even formed. You were knit together and wonderfully made in His image and likeness so as to fulfill the plan and purpose that was meant to make you the best you could be. Therefore it is in that yes, in obedience, in humility like Christ that we will find the fulfillment of our very existence.

I pray that God our Father brings you to the fulfillment of your purpose and may you draw strength from his son Jesus and may His Holy Spirit be your comforter at all times. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Letting God's will be done

Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
Genesis 22:13‭-‬14 NIV

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
Philippians 2:12‭-‬13 NIV

Our salvation is a gift from God, yet then we are called to work it out; how? in Obedience to all that God calls us to. Sometimes this path will be challenging and there will be many a obstacles along the way, but we ought to know that He who began the good work in us will bring it to fruition. All we need to do is cooperate and be willing. No matter the temptations and/or the trails that come our way. Our prayer should always be: Father not mine, but thy will be done.

I pray that God our Fathers unconditional Love be your source of comfort as you thread along life's journey. Maybe Jesus be your strength in times of uncertainty and may His Holy Spirit be your counsel. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

And lead us not into Temptation

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. “This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven,   hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done,   on earth as it is in heaven. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.   ’
Matthew 6:8‭-‬10‭, ‬13 NIV

On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.”  He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”
Luke 22:40‭-‬42 NIV

The 'Hour' that Jesus referred to was that of Him on the cross. The God who created the earth was now subject to death in most shameful manner; stripped, flogged and nailed to a cross like a criminal. He who was without sin, now had the sins of the world on Him. But as He stay on the cross He was tempted to save himself, His whole authority with what He taught was questioned. Yet He resisted the temptation, because that was His constant prayer. Temptation in itself is not sin, when we give into temptation that becomes sin. Therefore we too should always pray for the same, not to be lead into temptation, but to be delivered from every evil.

I pray the God our Father protects you in His loving mercy and may you find strength in Christ to resist temptations and may His Holy Spirit be your counsel. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Obeying God

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,
Exodus 19:5 NIV

For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
1 Thessalonians 2:3‭-‬4 NIV

Following Christ is not the end of troubled times as we like to look at it, but in a very true sense it is coming to an acceptance of the situation knowing fully that God is navigating the course of this journey. And along this journey there will be many roads that lead to the world's sense of Abundant life, the key is in, not getting tricked into taking a detour or a shortcut, but persisting in obedience, for it is through obedience that Christ accepted the Cross and resisted every trial and temptation that came along the way.

I pray that God our Father pours out his love on you making you obedient like His Son Jesus, to his calling for you and may His Holy Spirit always strengthen your conviction to answer the call.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

In Trails and Temptations lean on Christ

Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.
Deuteronomy 8:2 NIV

In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
1 Peter 1:6‭-‬7 NIV

As long as we are on Earth we are going to go through trials and temptations, but what really matters is how we respond to them. Our old lives will respond differently and now that we've been made new in Christ we respond differently. But the key to our new response is Christ, for without him we can slip back to our old being very easily. For even Christ himself was tempted not just in the desert, but continuously right up to the very 'Hour' on the Cross.

I pray that God our loving Father give you the Grace through his Son Jesus Christ to boldly face trails and to resist temptations that come your way and may His Holy Spirit strengthen your endeavor. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Keep Trusting God

Oh, how I wish that God would speak, that he would open his lips against you  and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know this: God has even forgotten some of your sin.
Job 11:5‭-‬6 NIV

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Hebrews 10:35‭-‬36 NIV

God is at the centre of our lives, however we are always looking on the outside for other things. We turn to God most times as if He were a quick fix drug, and that is not right. The God experience you go thru at some moments are very real, but there are times when you will feel as if God has abandoned you. Jesus felt the same on the Cross, but that didn't mean He gave up on God and vice versa. He still remained confident on God and preserved. We too are called to do the same, and like St. Mother Teresa we too must strive on in our calling knowing that God is within.

I pray that the Love you've felt of God our Father, be your source of inspiration and may you place your Hope in His Son Jesus who rose from the dead, and may the Holy Spirit guide you in your conviction. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God is Good all the Time

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV

Yet he(Abraham) did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
Romans 4:20‭-‬21 NIV

The thing about timing is, its changing constantly and the thing about us humans is that as times changes so do we. When it comes to matters of faith,  we only believe when we see, yet God does not change his plans nor thoughts for us.
You were created with a purpose, and He who began the good work in you will bring it to fruition, all it it requires on your part is trust and acceptance that not matter what season, not matter the reason; even when you do wrong, God is making it right and doing all that is required to bring you to the fulfillment of your purpose.

I pray the love of God our Father is felt in your Heart, and may you like His Son trust him and submit to his will and be guided in every decision you make by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Faithful God

Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord , make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:7‭-‬8 NIV

if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
2 Timothy 2:13 NIV

The Spirit of God lives within us and that is the Truth, that said our journey here on earth is about our disposition of faith in our maker. At all times we must know and be aware and be believe that God is by out side no matter what, and our constant prayer should be that of surrender even when we don't understand what's going on... For our God remains Faithful for He cannot disown Himself.

I pray that God our Father draws you closer to Himself as you find Hope in 'His Son Jesus and may the presence of 'His Holy Spirit always be felt in your life. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

The greatest is Love

Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." The two of them walked on together.
Genesis 22:8

It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It never gives up.  Love never fails...
1 Corinthians 13:7‭-‬8

There would have been many questions as Abraham journeyed with his son, but Abraham was a man of great Faith and He had placed all his hope in the Lord,. but it is the Love for God that made him obedient. The greatest commandment that Jesus gave us was that of love, and it because of Love, that he gave himself up to obedient to the will of His Father.
There will be days, where our faith is challenged and the hope might seem bleak, but know that God loves you and Love never fails. The three most important things to have are faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

I pray that the unconditional Love of God our Father abound in your life each day, bringing you closer to his Son Jesus who is the manifestation and personification of Love. And may your life bear the fruits of Love, Peace and Joy of his Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Be Still, like Mary....

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIV Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” Luke 2:34‭-‬35 NIV The best example of 'Being Still' drawn from the word of God is that of Mary. Imagine her plight she is told she is the mother of God's son yet she is also told a sword is to pierce her soul, and it did through the seven sorrows. What would we do if we were in Mary's place. Yet Mary trusted God more than anything around her. Infact after Jesus ascension it was Mary who kept the apostles together and it was in the upper room the Glory of God was revealed, only because Mary was still and knew God. Mama Mary I pray to thee to continue your intercession for us that we may to Be still and know the Father's love as we continue to place our Hope in His Son Jesus Christ as we go about our daily lives listening to the voice of His Holy Spirit. Amen Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows!!! God Bless!!!

Called to carry our Cross

The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.”
Numbers 21:8 NIV

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,  that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
John 3:14‭-‬15 NIV

The exultation of Jesus on the cross as a sign of Hope was revealed to man much before it actually happened, in same way it was also revealed through Abraham that Jesus(God's only son) is the Lamb of God that was to be sacrificed. Therefore the cross is not just a sign of Hope, it is a prize possession and we all are called to carry our daily crosses, for when we grow weary of our cross, we look at Jesus who showed us the way.

I pray that God exults you as you carry your daily cross and may you be resurrected in Christ Jesus to the new Abundance of Life. May your paths always be governed and guided by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Let God Fight for you

The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord ; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
Psalm 37:39 NIV

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest..."
Matthew 11:28 NIV

The good fight can get tiring too, after all it is a fight and one is dispensed of energy. But this is a fight where one is called not to fight on their own strength but that of God. So if you are feeling all weary despite the fact that you are on God's side, know that it's time to take a step back and give the reigns to God. For victory belongs to Him and in Him we are made victorious.

I pray that the Love of God our Father draws you to His innate rest and peace that no one can give, and may you draw all your strength to place all in His hand just like Jesus did. And may the Holy Spirit be your comforter, refreshing and reviving you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God's Peace for you

The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever.
Isaiah 32:17 NIV

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27 NIV

'Peace be with you' that's how Jesus greeted his disciples most of the times, infact even in the instructions given to them before they went out, He advised them to greet every new town with peace why?  In his human nature Jesus saw that man is most troubled in the mind, everything may seem calm on the outside but deep withing there is a storm raging at all times, but is this storm for real or is it an illusion meant to distract or take awake our focus from the real thing. In the boat despite having Jesus the disciples panicked, perhaps they forgot who was with them, up until He calm the sea, for nothing is impossible with God. And no matter what is your situation know that Jesus is in your boat and every thing is in control even if it doesn't seem so. For it is done to us according to our faith and when we trust we will realise that the peace that comes from God, no one can give nor anyone take it away.

I pray that Love of God our Father bring you eternal peace in His son Jesus and may His Holy Spirit lead you to calmness and serenity in your life. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to be in a Relationship

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27 NIV

But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”
Luke 15:2 NIV

Whether you are a sinner or a saint  you are created in the image and likeness of God, by God. Now since  He is your Creator, he knows you in and out. You are not a factory manufactured product, you are a creation of Love, you were thought of way before you even came into being and God had to work out your coming into this world, which meant He had to bring your parents together first and so on and so forth. The point is; God created you for Himself and the sooner we realize this, the faster we know the reason for our existence and the faster we can put into action all that God wants us too. For starters he just wants you to trust Him more, he wants to have a relationship with you, but a relationship is built, and in order to build, there has to be Communication, which is a two way process. It doesn't matter whether your a sinner or a saint, God is waiting on you... Are you building a relationship with Him?

I pray that the Father's love draws you to His son Jesus who is the Truth, the Way and Life, and may His Holy Spirit enlighten in you all that God desires from you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Experiencing God's Love

“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.  For you will spread out to the right and to the left; your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in their desolate cities.
Isaiah 54:2‭-‬3 NIV

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 NIV

I was struggling this morning with many a things and I decided to pass on spending time with what He wants to say through His word. Words didn't seem to come to me and I found myself slowly taking a step back from, but that's where, the Love of God draws you closer. So as I prayed for solace, I took a step towards Him in the Sacrament of reconciliation and it all changed in an instant. When you experience the Love of God, knowing and understanding it becomes simpler. For our God is the God of Hope and Promise. Hope that in him we find Abundant life and Promise that He will never leave. And all we need to do is stay on course.

I pray that the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God Our Hope

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?..."
Luke 6:41 NIV

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalm 139:23‭-‬24 NIV

As humans we are all going through struggles and will continue to do so, but it is in how you deal with a struggle that makes the difference. Sin is our greatest struggle, the lure of temptation is always around, but when we give in, we mess up. Now the road to recovery is repentance and a quick rise, however, we often compare ourselves to others as if, to say, we have sinned less in degree. Sin is sin and there is no degree in comparison, however the  comparison puts us even more in sin and that is what Jesus questions; "why do you see speck in your brother's eye and not the log in your own?"
Our hope is in God and He knows us much better than we know ourselves, He knew how every day would pan out in our lives, when He was forming us in our mother's womb. He knows our thoughts and the words that we will speak, He knows us through and through. It is right and just then for us to turn to God, like David and say "Search me, God, and know my heart..."

I pray that Unconditional Love and Mercy of God our Father  and the sacrifice of His son Jesus be your Hope and may His Holy Spirit always lead you to His Eternal ways. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones  :)

Say Yes, like Mary...

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord .  “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Isaiah 55:8‭-‬9 NIV

Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be.
Luke 1:29 NIV

We often think of ourselves as a tiny part in creation and that we are,  but it is in the image and likeness of whom and by whom we are made; we have been given authority over the earth. Each one of us has purpose and part to play when on earth. Most times we'd assume it to be simple and plain, but that's not why God created you,  His ways are beyond our imagination perhaps even that is why Mary was troubled when she greeted by Angel Gabriel. And it is ok to be overwhelmed by God's plans for you, because they are huge. The key however is to submit humbly to his will no matter what the consequences are, just like Mary, Joseph and Jesus did. Letting God's will be done.

I pray the God the Father reveals to you this day His plans for you and may you like Jesus humbly accept His will, for you have the advocate and comforter of His Holy Spirit along your way. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God is Good

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
Jeremiah 31:3 NIV

God is good and that is not just a fact but the Truth. We cannot do anything in this world to merit his goodness or love, He gives it to us anyway because he is God. Having said that thou, the onus of acceptance of his love and goodness is entirely upon us as He gave us a free will to choose. So it's a choice to be poor in spirit and know that God is control rather than depend on ones own ability, it's a choice to hunger for his word and be filled with it rather than depend on worldly wisdom and it's a choice to choose the peace Christ brings rather than trying to understand it. And when these are our choices life becomes simple and uncomplicated thus paving the way to see God's Goodness and experience his unconditional and everlasting love.

I pray the God Father showers his abundant grace on you drawing you close to his son Jesus so that you may experience God's goodness and may your choices be led by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Trusting on God's Promise

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10 NIV

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NIV

Life often surprises us with its various twists and turns which can get us quite exhausted, sometimes even to the point of losing hope. But every time you reach a situation like that, the simplest thing to do is to turn to the cross, the ultimate sign of Hope. God never leaves, he is always by your side and no matter what you feel, know that God is in control. For he loved us so much that He sent his only son, what more can we really ask for. Perhaps in times of hopelessness we can take a look at what God is trying to teach us; If you find yourself in a mess, give it to him and he will turn it into a message,  your tests will become your testimony because with God nothing is impossible and His promises are forever. But know He has not promised there will only be sunshine, he has not promised it will never rain. But he has promised He will never leave.

I pray that you feel the Love God the Father through his son Jesus Christ and may the presence of His Holy Spirit always be with you to guide and guard you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Waiting on God

The day for building your walls will come, the day for extending your boundaries.
Micah 7:11 NIV

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:4 NIV

How many times have you felt stuck, or the circumstance you are in seemed hopeless ? Many a times will be the answer to most of us, because life is a journey and on this journey we are going to encounter moments like these. But it is at this time we look to the cross in hope, for victory was won by Jesus hanging on it, and not by coming down from it. God knows the right time for everything and in the run up to it, He is constantly preparing you for that day, when you not only build your walls but extend your boundaries because you are not a coincidence here on earth, you are part of God's plan and purpose. So next time you find yourself cornered, picture Jesus on the cross knowing that He rose again on the third day.

I pray that God the Father gives you the wisdom to know and understand the plans and purpose He has for you, may you find strength in Jesus as He did his Father's will and may the Holy Spirit be your counsel along this path. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Knowing God's Love

“How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I hand you over, Israel? How can I treat you like Admah? How can I make you like Zeboyim? My heart is changed within me; all my compassion is aroused.
Hosea 11:8 NIV

“As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
John 15:9 NIV

Have you ever been in love? The euphoria at the beginning is always exciting, your partner sees you beyond the faults and it's all rosy, but the moment the euphoria fades, the cracks begin to appear and then there is judgement, there are fights, there is doubt, and finally a compromise rather than understanding. But with God it's not like that; God has created you in his image and likeness, but He has given you a free will, and He knows how you think, behave or will act even before you know it, but God still loves you, and calls out to you 'come to me'. The best example would be that of Peter. Jesus knew what was to come and when it did come,  He looked straight at Peter, but looked with him in Love, at that look assured Peter that God will never leave you no matter what, no matter even if you deny him, because that is how much God loves you and we are called to be the same. We are called to reflect God's love in our relationships and not replace it.

I pray that you experience in your heart the warmth, joy and unconditionality of the Father's Love like His Son Jesus who because of this love gave himself up and may the Holy Spirit be your counsel to Unconditional and Abundant Love. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God's love is so Wonderful

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28 NIV

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Psalm 46:10 NIV

We often find ourselves running a race that has no real destination, and sometimes even failing to understand that life is all about the journey. And on this journey we are called to do just one thing and that is to love one another. But how can we love one another if we ourselves are not filled with God's love?
Most times we are weary and
burdened, and carrying these weighs us down so much that we seldom look at another. We get so engrossed in our problems that we fail to see the love of God, we fail to hear His voice which is constantly calling us saying "Come to me..." Some of us do hear the voice but then we are dependent on our own actions, rather than let God have control. But peace will come only when we let Him have his way, for God's ways are not your ways and he has plans, plans for our future and a life of abundance. So trust in God and take the first step and watch Him run to you.

I pray that the Love of God the Father be the oasis in your life's dessert as you trust Him like his son Jesus Christ and may the Holy Spirit lead and guide you to this fountain of Life, refreshing you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Make Jesus Known

“I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.”
Jeremiah 1:5 GNBDC

“Good for you, Simon son of John!” answered Jesus. “For this truth did not come to you from any human being, but it was given to you directly by my Father in heaven.
Matthew 16:17 GNBDC

Has Jesus been revealed to you in your daily life, or because you were born in a Christian family or out of nowhere you heard a voice speak to you. Then you are chosen just like Peter to whom it was revealed by the Father, that Jesus is the one thru whom we shall be saved. In world where 7.5 Billion people live of which many haven't even heard the name of Jesus forget knowing the salvation story, God has prepared a way to reach out to all and thus He chose you. To be prophet, preist and king, to share the good news you first received and to give to others that joy that overflows in your heart. So don't hold back in sharing Christ for this is how we were called, not by our own accord but by him who created us with a purpose.

I pray that the revelation made to you by the Father ignite in you an unstoppable flame in taking the Good News of his son Jesus Christ to those who cross your path and may you be guided and given words by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Love God ? Then love your neighbour too

Try to be at peace with everyone, and try to live a holy life, because no one will see the Lord without it.
Hebrews 12:14 GNBDC

but he rejected Cain and his offering. Cain became furious, and he scowled in anger.
Genesis 4:5 GNBDC

We cannot love God and hate our neighbour and this God has made clear from the very beginning by rejecting the offerings Cain brought to Him. Likewise Jesus too always made it very clear God is all about love and compassion. But the Pharisees never got the point, it was always about rules and regulations and seeing the wrong in the other. Our righteousness comes from God who is constantly pouring out His Love on us but how open are we to receive His love? Most a times we are lost in seeing the splinter in our brothers eyes, but fail to see the log in our own. Therefore Jesus summed up the commandments saying Love your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your strength and love your neighbour as yourself.

I pray that the Love, God our Father pours out in you increase the love you have for all his creation just like his son Jesus did and may the Holy Spirit be your source of Counsel and Strength. Amen
