Putting God First

For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord , my confidence since my youth.
Psalm 71:5‭ NIV

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Mathew 6:33 NIV

I very vividly remember a race in kindergarten, we had to tie our shoelaces and run. Mom said, "Just make the sign of the cross and run.." and on 'Go' I did just that, and boy what a victory it was, coming first and receiving a trophy can light up anyone's day or perhaps a lifetime. The point is the focus, at that point, my focus was not tying the lace or finish line, it was on making the sign of the cross. Off course, I did practice tying my laces and running and it all fell in place. Our God is a Good and He always wants the best for you, but the question is do you want the best for yourself?

If Yes, then you put God first in everything, not to say that you don't do anything, You have to do your bit. If Faith is blind, where do you think it will lead you? Faith is based on trust and trust is built over time as a relationship grows. The more your relationship grows with God the more you will realize that you can trust him and the more you trust in Him the more your Faith increases. And you will realize that He is all that matters, for when He comes first everything that is his, is given to you.

I pray that you experience the love of God our Father, and build a solid relationship with him through his Son Jesus. And May His Holy Spirit be with you always.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Discerning the will of God

The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
1 Samuel 3:10 NIV

“Abba ,  Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
Mark 14:36 NIV

We are all anxious in life and therefore we are constantly seeking answers in some form or the other. We want God to talk to us and tell us everything He knows about our life. The idea of being vulnerable in a definitive and tangible world is very uncomforting. Lest we forget that though God promised Abraham a son, it took a while for Issac to be born. God told Noah to build the Arch, but He didn't tell him how many days he would have to stay locked in with all kinds of Animals. The last mention of God speaking(through his Angel) to Mary was at the annunciation, but nothing after that. But in Faith they all lived and trusted God with all his plans, so how do we know what God specifically wants us to do?

God has given us instructions in the ten commandments and Jesus summarizes them into two(Mark 12:30-31). Now, this is the pathway we are all called to take for when you are on this path, you accept Gods grace to work for you and when you are open to his graces, it is His will that is established in your life. No matter who you are, or where you are at this point in time, in the words of Neil T Anderson "know that the will of God will not take you where the grace of God cannot keep you" and when you live with Faith God will specifically direct your path to his will.

I pray that you are able to listen to God our Father as He speaks to your heart through his son Jesus, as you entrust your will into His. And may His Holy Spirit guide to the path of fruition. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Say Yes to God

“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost..."
Isaiah 55:1 NIV

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV

The price has already been paid, the price of God's promise for all good things of His kingdom. however it's not going to be thrust down you, you have to be open to receive it. And how do you receive a gift?

You open up your hands to receive it. The Love God is a free gift and with His love comes fulfillment and satisfaction in every area of your life, no matter what your earthly circumstances are... And God is constant in his calling 'Come' (Matthew 11:28) for He knows his works well. Having made you, He knows and understands you like no other, which is why his calling is and will always be constant. The acceptance of His call is with you, it is in your Yes that God brings an Amen to all his promises.

I pray that you say yes to the Love of God our Father and in humility accept the precious gift of His Son Jesus Christ. And may His Holy Spirit guide you to the fulfillment of His promises. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Great Things Happen

“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them..."
Exodus 25:8 NIV

Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
John 14:23 NIV

There is no one as persistent as God. He not only wants, but longs to have a relationship with you. And not just an ordinary relationship, He wants to dwell with you. Imagine how precious you are in His sight! But God is Good and good and bad are on the opposite sides. Therefore it is sin that separates us from God. But there were and are people whom God dwelled with Abraham, Noah, Moses, Joseph, Saints of our times, with God by their side they did great things, for this is what happens when God mixes with us. How can we get God to dwell with us?

We simply obey His teachings, but God doesn't teach by giving us instructions, he gives us his commandments. And the greatest of them is to love God, with all your heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. For when we obey his commands, He dwells with us and we come see the world in a different light. We see ourselves and others as God sees us and as we do that; Great things happen.

I pray that you surrender in complete obedience to the Love of God our Father who sent His son to dwell amongst us, so that we might become like Him, holy and blameless. And may His Holy Spirit given to us bear it's fruits as we love and serve God. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

My Lord and My God

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1 NIV

Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
Matthew 22:37‭, Mark 12:30, Luke 10:27  NIV

The first and the greatest commandment mentioned in the old testament in Deuteronomy 6:5 is also reiterated by Jesus in three out of the four gospels. Surely it means that this is very important to God, for He desires us, to himself. But this world He has placed us in seems to be lost, with loss comes hurt and suffering, and all you need to ease the pain is Love. But God wants us to love him with all our heart, soul and mind? How is this possible when we cannot see or feel him, how does He expect us to love him when He himself has placed us in a tangible world?

You do so by simply placing him first in your life, before your relationships, before you career, before money, before your every need and want, before anything and everything in your life God has to be first. When you enter in a romantic relationship, no matter how busy or tired you are, you would find time to connect with the one you love. In the same way, God wants to be loved, which is why He commands us, so as to know that Love is not just about affection, it's also about commitment. And when we love God with all our heart, and all our soul and with all our mind, by giving him the number one priority in our life, we shall experience what it is to be unconditionally loved without having to place our hands in his wounds or in his side, thus our hearts will exclaim; "My Lord and My God."

I pray that you feel loved by God our Father as He pours out on you unconditional Grace through his Son Jesus Christ and may His Holy Spirit wrap around you the unending joys of the peace and acceptance that comes from knowing that you are God's beloved. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Obedience Comes First

Your word, Lord , is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures.
Psalm 119:89‭-‬90 NIV

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Luke 21:33 NIV

God spoke to the world into existence. It is through His word that He made all things on earth and through His word, made flesh in Christ Jesus that this world has been saved. We often promise people and assure them, by giving them our word, if we value and hold true to ourselves our word, how much more valuable is God's word then? Will not God's word hold true?

Abraham, Noah, and Mary all of them obeyed God through his word and this obedience came from keeping his laws first and then doing as He revealed. When you keep his commandments, you will be able to discern His will for you. When you submit to His will, you fulfill your purpose of life, therefore obedience comes first. Come to think of it, Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son, Noah was told to build a boat, Mary was told she would conceive although she was a virgin.  We all know what they did, they obeyed. Therefore we are called to obey his word, whether at the moment we understand it or not, for when we do, we will find life in all its abundance.

I pray that you put loving God our Father and keeping his word as a priority in your life. Like Jesus may you be obedient to all that He asks of you and may His Holy Spirit give you understanding, wisdom, and courage to continue on this your chosen path. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to Praise and Thank God

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
Psalm 100:4 NIV

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16‭-‬18 NIV

You born again in the Lord and have been doing as He has asked of you. The old has gone and the new has come. But in the midst of it all, there are times where you struggle to pray, you feel a disconnect, you're in the midst of it all and yet you feel far away, what do you do in such a circumstance? You persist and preserve in Praise and Thanksgiving. You Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances

Come to think of it, no matter what the external circumstance, you are still breathing, your heart is still working and pumping blood for you, now that in itself, is a miracle, therefore you praise and thank God. Jesus always Praised and Thanked His Father, in fact, His prayers were always of Praise and Thanksgiving. (Mat 11: 25, John 11:41, John 12:28) God's wants it that way so that we know, He is in control of everything, even if we feel otherwise. When you Praise and Thank God, you take the step and enter his Gates, you are in his territory. As you find yourself on this familiar ground, your faith is not only restored, but also works the miracles in your life.

I pray that God our Father accepts every breath you take and the beat of your heart as a prayer of Praise and Thanksgiving. May you Rejoice always as you give Thanks that you are God's heir in Jesus Christ and may you bear the Fruits His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Do you have Fears?

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Deuteronomy. 31:6 NIV

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians  9:15 NIV

There is one persistent enemy that is always on the prowl looking for ways to trap you and that enemy is Fear. Each of us has so many different kinds of fears, that we tend to accept defeat even before the battle has begun. God loves you and accepts you for who you are Period. There is nothing you can do that will change that. His love is complete and full by all measures and that is the truth. We find this truth hard to accept because we measure God's love by human standards, and that is when we allow fear to take control of our lives, thus ending up not where we want to be. No matter where you are at this point in time, know that God loves you, and that is His indescribable gift. He not only assures us victory but also his presence in our lives till the very end. For, in the end, we will go back to him.

How then, do you overcome fear? In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus cried out to his father, for He was overwhelmed with what was to come, which meant He knew what fear was?  But Jesus confronted fear with his faith and humble surrender to His Father, "Not mine, but thy will be done". So the next time you are confronted by fear, be strong and courageous and stop fighting on your own. In faith and humility submit yourself to God, watch your fears disappear.

I pray that all times you be open to the Grace of God our Father, submitting your will to him just like Jesus his son did, knowing fully that he will never leave or forsake you. And may His Holy Spirit be your good counsel and encourage at all times. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

The Rainbow Effect

Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
Psalm 130:‬7 NIV

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV

Everyone wants Happiness, no one wants pain, but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain. We all want the prize in the end, but is life really a competition. Life was designed by God and He wants us to have it in abundance. But the true essence of abundance comes from the cross, for from it flowed Love, Forgiveness, Grace, and Mercy. And that is where our strength to live each day should come from, for on that Cross Christ was victorious and won for us all battles of life. As we pick our own cross, we learn that life's rainbow needs the colors of Love, Forgiveness, Grace and Mercy and that comes only from God, which is why He asks us to carry our own cross. God's love is the purest form of love you can ever experience and this you can experience in your everyday lives, in your joys and troubles, in Victory and in failure, God is always there. And when you experience this Love of God you will know the pot of gold is in the experience of the rainbow and not at the end of it.

I pray that each day God our Loving Father reveals to you different shades of the Rainbow of his Love as in Jesus Christ you find all the joys, courage, and wisdom to journey each day in abundance and may His Holy Spirit, lead your path in discernment and encouragement. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

How does God see you?

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Psalm 139:14‭, ‬16 NIV

For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
Hebrews 10:14 NIV

Ever wondered how God looks at you, knowing who you really are? Well, It's surely far different from the way you or anyone else looks at you. The answer is pretty simple and in two parts, The first one is, since God made you, you are perfect, for God does not make mistakes. But God gave us a free will, and it is by this will that we continue to live. It is by this will that Adam and Eve fell into sin and sin entered our not just our world but also our flesh (Romans 7: 23) which is why our bodies die.

But since God made us and made us with love, the perfection had to stay, and in order that it might stay, though man disobeyed. God sent his only son Jesus to live in the flesh and to pay the price of that disobedience. For on the cross, as Christ bore our sins and died, we were born to eternal life in the likeness of Christ, thus making us perfect in Gods sight. So no matter who tells you what they think about you or feel about you, know that you are a child of God and you're perfect in his sight.

I pray that you see yourself the way God our Father sees you, perfect and holy, that even if you were alone on earth. He would send his son Jesus who would willing accept the cross because He loves you too and may His Holy Spirit grow in you, God's abounding Love and wisdom. Amen

God Bless you and your loved one.

God wants your friendship

One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 18:24 NIV

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.  I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
John 15:13‭, ‬15 NIV

I read an article of a popular dot-com CEO, who got off social media, after attending the funeral of his close friend. He sighted, that whilst this friend who passed away had many friends on his social media account, only a hand full of them were there to attend his funeral. Today in the world of 'selfies' how do you know who is a friend and who isn't. Popular culture has made friendship to be a thing of good times, which is why no one seems to be real on social media, after all, it's all about likes and comments, isn't it?

In your circle, you will always find a friend who will stick close by, that friend is more interested in you when your chips are down, rather than in the good times, and no matter what, the friendship always stays and grows strong. Jesus too has extended his hand of friendship to us, he has called us friends and for the sake of this friendship he laid down his life. And time and again when you fall, He is there extending his hand of love and acceptance, saying No worries, I am with you, let's try again. Jesus is non-judgemental, encouraging and full of love. He knows our every weakness and accepts us for who we are. The choice then is with us, to accept this friendship or to decline.

I pray that God our Father strengthens the bond of affection that unites you as a friend of Christ, and may you accept all that Jesus tells you as a friend. May His Holy Spirit imbibe in you the virtues of loyalty, compassion, and wisdom to be a good friend. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God Our Protector

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. You stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes; with your right hand you save me.
Psalm 138:7 NIV

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV

Our God is a Faithful God, he loves us not because of who we are, but because of who He is. The world we live in is broken and sin continues to damage it, as we all have a Free will. Our expectation of God's working in our life is sometimes related to fairy tale stories. We want some kind of magic to happen, but that's not how God works. He works in His own ways, to know and experience it you have to be still. Maybe that annoying colleague because of whom you missed your transport bus, which got stuck in traffic endlessly, or that sudden remembrance that you've issued a cheque and your balance is less, are some of the ways how God protects. When you find yourself in a situation you least expect, submit to God and you will see His protection.

I pray that you always submit your will to that of the Father, just like Jesus did and in doing so may you be blessed and covered under His mighty protection. May His Holy Spirit sustain you and all your endeavors. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

How to resist temptation

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 NIV

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2 NIV

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He didn't give in or fall, He resisted the devil by taking refuge in God's word. And so it is with us followers of Christ. The enemy is on a constant prowl waiting to trap you, if not in the  area that you struggle with, then maybe with something new. He is not giving up easily, so you have to be on your guard. The enemy didn't give up on Jesus in just one try, he went on and on, three times until Jesus told him to get away. The only way to be on guard is to make God your refuge and build a strong and solid foundation in him. For when you resist the devil, he will flee from you (James 4:7). So the next time you find yourself at the edge of temptation, say, "In Jesus' name, Get away"

I pray that you build your foundation in the abundant love of God our Father. Like Jesus may you grow in faith, courage and wisdom and may His Holy Spirit strengthen your will. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Leave the past behind

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland..."
Isaiah 43:18‭-19 NIV

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:13‭-‬14 NIV

What God can achieve in 24 hours, on your own, you cannot even in 24 years. If you look at your life careful you will see this truth. Often we are caught missing the moment, for most of the time we're thinking of what has gone by or are anxious about what our future holds, perhaps that's why we're missing out on 'The Present' which is God's gift to us. Each new day we are called to pick up our cross and to strengthen this our endeavor Jesus taught us to pray for our daily bread from God the Father. Each new day is a sign of Hope, won at Calvary. A sign that in Him there is victory, a sign to never give up, a sign of New Life, a sign that no matter how hopeless the situation is, there is still a chance, a sign that there is a resurrection. Therefore, leave the past where it rightfully belongs, behind, and stop worrying about the future. Embrace your present as you cling on to that Hope in Christ, for in it, you are born to new life and are set free...

I pray that God our Loving Father gives you the grace to leave your past behind and to look forward to the true and lasting Hope in Christ Jesus and may you be born anew by His Holy Spirit. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to Perfection

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Mathew 5:48 NIV

Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him
Hebrews 5:8‭-‬9 NIV

We are often caught in the dilemma of perfection, on one hand, we know as humans we cannot be perfect but on the other, how can we be imperfect, if we are created by God? Perhaps a trait of humans is to find definitive answers and hence there has to be a solution mathematically speaking. But this doesn't work with matters of Faith, which is why one cannot explain a miracle and miracles do happen. So how then are we to be perfect?

Jesus in his human nature was obedient and lived his purpose by accepting the cross, that is what brought him to perfection. So, no matter where you are in life now, whatever be your state, know that Jesus died for you individually and therefore as a Christian you are saved and nothing separates you from God(CCC #2013). However you were created for a purpose and in order to reach its fulfillment, you have to allow God's grace to work within you by relating everything you do to Jesus and by doing so, you will come to live your call to perfection.

I pray that God our Father brings to you to the perfection of himself like He did with Jesus who was obedient to the Father's will and became the perfect offering. May your life be governed, guarded and guided by his Holy Spirit to fulfill all that God desires for you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Called to play our part

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
Exodus 14:13 NIV

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Jude 1:20‭-‬21 NIV

We all want God to work in our lives, and so He does, but often we only want Him to work, without realizing the part we have to play in His Plan. Yes, we all have a part to  play in God's work, which is why He has created us in the first place with a sense of purpose, and that will be established when we do our bit. Come to think of it, Abraham did his bit, by putting Isaac on the sacrificial Altar, Noah had to build the boat, Moses had to lift his hand for the sea to part. Mary had to say Yes. Every working of God requires Man's yes, that is why the priest mingles a Lil water into the wine, as a sign of our humanity mixed in Christ blood. So we are called to build up our Faith. Nobody can do it for you. You have to be eager in searching for God, willing to do His will and take action as He leads you, and once you do, you will be amazed at what you see...

I pray that the love God our Father has for you, strengthens you to seek Him with all your heart and like Jesus may you be led by His Holy Spirit doing your bit and seeing the amazing things God has in store for you. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Looking for a miracle?

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has healed you.”
Luke 18:42 NIV

There are 3 tenets to a miracle, God's will, your request, and Faith. Whenever Jesus reached out to people He mentioned their Faith. But what is Faith? And how does it sync with God's will? The answer to this can be found in children, especially when they are playing, they will be downright honest, but nonjudgmental, they will trust easily and accept you the way you are. Like wise we are called to be the same, to trust God our Father for His will is in sync with our perfect Happiness. As humans, there will always be two choices, between doing what we want and allowing God to work in our lives and that is where our faith comes into play. And faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.(Heb 11:1) So the next time you pray, pray like a child, seeking God's will with a pure heart, knowing fully that God is listening to you and that's when you will see miracles in your life. Miracles are happening every day, all you need to do is look around to see them.

I pray that God our Father bestows upon you His Grace in abundance as you surrender your life in His Hands. May your heart always be pure and obedient like Jesus and May his Holy Spirit strengthen your Faith. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

To all Children and to the child in you
Happy Children's Day

Are you Struggling?

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
Genesis 3:6 NIV

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone, but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
James 1:13‭-‬14 NIV

Have you been struggling in a particular area in your life, or has there been a sin which doesn't go away? We all walk along the lines of Adam & Eve, for that is our human nature. Now human nature is in contradiction to Divinity, yet it cannot be an alibi to give into temptation, for even that was conquered by God in Christ Jesus when He became Man. So how can we resist temptations? By thy acknowledging our weakness and desires within. Jesus knows what you want and need, his been there, When He said, "Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from God" He knows that Bread is a necessity, and there are ways and means you earn it, but the best way to earn it, is to receive it from God's providence, and hence like Paul we must rely on God's Grace, for it is sufficient and our weaknesses will be made perfect by His power.

I pray that God our Father brings you to an understanding of His unending Love for you as you Trust  him more every day, like Jesus may you submit the reins of your life in accordance to the Father's will and may His Holy Spirit give you hope in this your perseverance. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God Will Provide

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
1Chronicles 29:11 NIV

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 NIV

As human beings, we will always have our needs and wants, but most times our needs are all material based. Now, it's  absolutely true that we need food to eat, clothes to wear and a roof over our head. But has our work become our identity? Do we trust God enough that He will take care of our every need? Every single paisa/cent we have has been provided by God. But God is more interested in seeing your need towards His Kingdom, for treasures, we store on earth will remain on earth. But what we'll take with us is the intention of our heart, which only God knows. May we strive each day to store up things that belong to his kingdom.

I pray that God our Father provides your every need and like Jesus may you trust Him for His Providence. And may His Holy Spirit lead you to humility and gratitude for all of God's providence. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

11 November 2016

Are you Confident of God?

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.
Isaiah 40:1 NIV

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Heb 4:15‭-‬16 NIV

We are often scared to approach God with our struggles, weakness and sins. Most times these fears come because we're scared of what God might say to us or condemn us for being wrong. When such thoughts come to your mind and you feel hesitant to approach God, just look at the cross and know that bec God loves you He sent his son Jesus who as a human being experienced every struggle and temptation, but yet he didn't give in, and that kept him away from Sin. So Jesus knows and understands you better than what you understand yourself, and that is why He calls saying "Come to me..." How do we answer this call? In confidence and total submission that we'll only find rest, in Him.

I pray that you see the love, God our Father has for you, as you go about your everyday life. May you hear and answer Jesus call as you grow in Him more. And may His Holy Spirit be your help always.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

God is within you

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1 NIV

nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.”
Luke 17:21 NIV

There are and there will be many occasions to doubt what you have come to believe. Most times this happens because as humans we are concerned with worldly things. We have to see to believe, but God's nature is very different, for He is more interested in saving you for He created you to be with Him for all eternity. Therefore we must learn to trust God in everything, we must stop looking around for answers and look within for it is there where Gods spirit resides, the same spirit that's leads you to Him, that helps to rise again when you fall, the same spirit assured by God, so that you can take refuge and do what is right and pleasing to Him, so that on the day when you are called, you would have achieved your purpose for life.

I pray that God our Loving Father pours out his Love on you in abundance thus giving you insight and revelation to your calling. Like Jesus may you be obedient to that call, and may His Holy Spirit give you courage to answer His call. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Lean on God

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Eccles. 3:5‭-‬6 NIV

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1 NIV

A lil baby sleeps gently in mother's arms, without any fear. As the baby grows a year older, her daddy plays a game with her, He asks her to jump, and the baby does, by leaping into his arms. A few years later, the child grows up and the parents take her swimming, but the child won't just jump into the pool, for the child now begins to sense the world around and over the years has absorbed fears that tell she might drown, although her parents are in the pool. We are all like that child, and God is our parent. If we try to understand the world on our own, we will never learn to swim, for when the tide is high, we may may go down. But when we lean on God, even in a storm we'll find ourselves walking on water.

I pray that you trust God our Father with all your heart, mind and soul, like Jesus did, even if it means drinking the from the cup. And may His Holy Spirit give you the courage, wisdom and understanding to deepen your faith. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

To Love or Fear? That is the Question...

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Ecclesiastes. 9:10 NIV

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 4:16 NIV

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18 NIV

As we mature in the spirit of God, we realize that true riches will be found in God's kingdom, why? because it will last forever. Everything here on earth is temporary and hence we ought do things knowing that it will have an eternal consequence. We all fear God and in a way the fear is essential, but the Spirit of God within us, is not of fear but of Love. When you're in love(at least at the initial stage) you wouldn't say or do anything to hurt you partner, right! That's because your in love with this person and you don't fear, but respect this person, likewise God loves you, not just in the initial stage but being fully aware of who you are, your thoughts, desires and actions. He loves you so much that He sent His only son to die, so that you may live. Will you then fear this God or Love Him back?

I pray that you realize the love God our Father has for you for He is a Good Good Father!! May you love Him like his son Jesus who was obedient to His word. And may His Holy Spirit assure you of His love always. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Can you merit the Kingdom?

“My eyes have seen all this, my ears have heard and understood it.  But I desire to speak to the Almighty and to argue my case with God."
Job 13:1‭, ‬3 NIV

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 NIV

Whatever you have become in life is a choice you've pursued and as a result of your consequential action you have come to become something personally and professionally. Your accomplishments define your persona and human nature, but God is far more interested in that, simply because He made you, and He just didn't make you, He thought of you before you were born, He thought out plans for you and then created you for Himself. But sin separated us for God so God sent his only son as a ransom. Therefore we can do nothing to merit the kingdom, it's has been given to us for free because God loves us, and while we still sinners, Christ died for us? The choice is with us to accept His gracious gift or to all away from it.

I pray that you understand the love God our Father has for you, that He sent his beloved son Jesus to die for you so that you may rise up with Him. And may His Holy Spirit  always reveal to you this love. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

With 'ALL' your Heart

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 NIV

Blessed are the pure in heart,   for they will see God.
Mathew 5:8 NIV

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Mathew 6:21 NIV

Each and everyone of us has a void within us, that void is not a manufacturing defect, it is put there on purpose, by Him who made us, for we were made by Him, for Him. Nothing on this earth can fill that void and the sooner we realise this, the sooner we will able to walk on the right path. If your refrigerator from ABC company throws up  problem, you will go to ABC company to get it serviced, if you go to XYZ, they will try to sell you their refrigerator. Similarly, you go to your manufacturer, and how? With 'ALL' your heart... For then you will be given the missing void and will be made complete.

I pray that you give to God our Father your whole heart in purity and earnestness, so that like Jesus  you may be made complete and accomplish all that was intended by God for you. May his Holy Spirit give you wisdom and understanding to God's ways. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

One day at a time...

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
Habakkuk 2:3 NIV

Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James 1:4 NIV

To create something it's takes time, and the greater the creation the more longer it takes. When you bake a simple cake, it doesn't take time, but more elaborate the cake is the more time and attention to details it will take. God's working in our life is also similar, we are often in hurry to get to the finish line, but God isn't. He knows how elaborate His plan is for you and therefore is taking his time to work on the minutest detail of your life. Yes this wait can sometimes get you worked up and impatient, but that's when virtues help. If you are in constant communication with God, He will pour out on you sufficient grace, to bring you till the finish line and that's when you will see how the dots connect.

I pray that you submit yourself totally to the will of God our Father for your life, just like Jesus did in all humility and obedience. Thus bringing you to the very fulfillment of the purpose you were created for and may His Holy Spirit help you discern your ways. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Showers of Blessings

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
Genesis 9:1 NIV

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Mathew 25:23 NIV

God blessings are for all of us, irrespective of who we are, because His blessings are, out his goodness and not our deeds. However we don't allow his blessings to flow by keeping a hedge of unlearning over our lives. Everyday is a new day and we leave behind the past, tomorrow  never comes and it is in the present day that we need to trust, learn and keep the faith in the smallest of things we encounter. In doing so we will then be receptive to all that God has in store for us.

I pray that God our Father pours out his Grace on you thus lifting any blocks that come in the way of your blessings. Like Jesus may you retain God's word in your heart and may His Holy Spirit be your conscience and conscious voice. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

You are His Creation!!

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13‭-‬14 NIV

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Rev 21:5 NIV

Every single thing in you, even your peculiarity was created by God to extend his goodness in order that your life comes to fruition according to His will. But life is a journey and on this journey you're going to encounter a lot of shortcut routes, hitchhiker's, pedestrians, shops etc and in the course of these, you might get deviated from your original destination. The key then is to depend on Him, so no matter what happens along the way: sickness, heartbreak, debt or failing in simple tasks. Jesus will use the same situation to turn you around provided to seek his help and make that pitstop to Him. For He knows ur inner most being, and it is He who makes everything new.

I Thank God our Loving Father for creating you the way you are, in all your uniqueness. May you know your inheritance in Jesus and May His Holy Spirit lead your ways. Amen.

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

His love is just for you

I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love. To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek, and I bent down to feed them.
Hosea 11:4 NIV

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1‭-‬2 NIV

The word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us, because by the offering of this flesh, we are now without condemnation of sin and death. Imagine you make a mistake at home, your parents will surely be upset with you, they may scold you, ground you or even punish you, but after a while they will come and embrace you, for you are their child and were born out of their love. Similarly we are all God's children and He created us with love, in His image and likeness, how then can He lose us. Therefore God our Father sent his only son as a ransom for our sins and as an assurance that He is with us, till the end of time.

I pray that the Love of God our Father move your heart, close towards Him and his son Jesus, who bore your failings on the cross. And may the fruits of the Holy Spirit grow in abundance in your heart. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)

Are you willing to accept God's gift...

My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.
Psalm 51:17 NIV

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.
Luke 23:34 NIV

You live the good life, you go to church, you help those in need, you  respect every one around you. You are on your way to heaven you may think because of the good your doing. But that's not the case, your going to heaven is because, a price has been paid on your account, and on your own merit you can do nothing, for salvation is a gift from God that washes us clean from original sin. However it is in the acceptance of this gift that the grace of God works. And How do we accept this gift from God? In humility we acknowledge the need for God in our lives, for even the smallest good we do, doesn't not come from us, but from God's goodness. And Jesus who knows the sincerity of your heart, just like he did of the thief crucified along side him, will then allow you to be part of His Paradise.

I pray that the love of God our Father draws you closer to him thus acknowledging the constant need for God in your life like Jesus did. And may His Holy Spirit walk with you guiding and guarding your ways. Amen

God Bless you and your loved ones :)
