Called to share His Love

The one who sows and the one who waters really do not matter. It is God who matters, because he makes the plant grow. For we are partners working together for God, and you are God's field. You are also God's building.

We are all created with a purpose, and that purpose is to love and worship God. As you continue to live your purpose your life will have a different meaning, you realize there is no want, there is no void  and there is no external need. For your hearts are now filled and there is no more a longing. And the beauty is that it doesn't stop there, because God love is continuously out poured so that your cup overflows. And what do you do when it does ? You share this overflow, because you know how fulfilling it is, and in doing so you are building His kingdom and that again is something we are all called to, but know one thing it is not you but God's purpose and plan for you that is being fulfilled.

I pray the Gracious and Generous Love of God the Father overflows in your heart filling it with His Son Jesus and may the Holy Spirit keep you in the benevolence of God's love. Amen

In the journey of life, there are some roads we might dread to take or the very anticipation of which road to take bogs us down. We ought to know that God is for real and no matter how we feel, there is a God who is constantly watching over us. Then why do we feel the way we do, anxious, worried and sometimes even distant from God.
Because God wants to see our response to our faith because it's is in times like these that we can easily quit. Our response should be to trust God and surrender everything to him just like Jesus did, giving all to him saying Father let your will be done, even when you feel God has forsaken you, for when you do that you allow God to take control. And when God takes control, He gives you the strength to endure your Good Friday and slowly transform it to an Easter Sunday.

I pray that the Love of God the Father draws you to Him, letting you give Him total and complete control of your life in Christ Jesus and may the Holy Spirit bear in you its fruits and gifts. Amen

Entering through the Narrow Gate

Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

It's easy to make a choice when you have limited or unattractive options. However when it comes to choosing what God wants for us, we're always reconsidering the choice, even though we know that God's choice is best. And how do we know that?
God is our Creator: Because God has made us, he knows and understands us like no other, therefore He knows what's best for us.
God's ways our not our ways: We are limited by the flesh, but God's nature is divine. He was there in the beginning and will be there in the end. And while we limit our understanding of Him, all He does is bears patience and loves us more.
Our assumption of life in Abundance is that with God everything changes like instant noodles, but if we look at the life of Jesus, he chose the narrow gate of the passion and death because it was His Father's choice which lead him to enter in the Life of Abundance to which we are all called too.

I pray that the Love of God the Father draws you to enter the Gates of his calling, with His Son Jesus Christ and may you find strength and be guided by His Holy Spirit to take every step. Amen

Your Inheritance God's Grace

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

We often fail to understand who God is, and which is why we limit Him to the extent of what we have seen or maybe sometimes experienced. But God is God, He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega.
To simplify this, close your eyes and think of a place you haven't been, now imagine you are in that place, although you haven't been there, your mind will create images for you and take you there. Now if this is what your imagination can do. Know that God is beyond your imagination for He has created the heavens, the earth and You with all your imaginations.
Therefore we ought to know and realize that our redemption is not won by our works, but by His Grace  and its recipient is the humble heart who knows that with God everything is possible; Be it forgiving someone who hurt you, be is doing mundane task when called to, or occupying the last seat  at a gathering. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

I pray the Love of God the Father brings in you the humility to accept His Grace knowing your inheritance with His Son Jesus Christ and may the Holy Spirit guide and guard your path. Amen

Your Dreams are not yours

Each one of us has dreams, dreams deep within our beings and hearts, but do you know that these were planted they by God. For you were thought of and chosen way before you were born and you taking human life is not a coincidence but in actuality God's plan. But most times we are scared to take the plunge, to wander into the deep and that's because we're relying on our own strength, and wander thru life not just burying those dreams but also missing out on the very purpose we were created for. We were created to worship God and in anything and everything we do, be it in our work as accountants or head of companies or for that matter even as a porter or be it in the simplicity of our living. We are called to worship in whatever we do. So putting your trust in God leap forward and take that plunge knowing that you have a God who is the wind beneath your wings and is your strength and help all the times.

I pray that God the Father brings to fruition your purpose in Christ Jesus and may His Holy Spirit Guide your steps in achieving all that is placed by Him in your heart. Amen

Understanding God's Wisdom

"If someone slaps you on your right cheek, let him have the other" taught Jesus. Come to think of it and sounds so damn foolish right? Today if a colleague at work gossips about you, perhaps you'd reveal the entire truth about the colleague to everyone. Or maybe your spouse said something hurtful to you, the easiest thing to do, would be to go back into the past and remind your spouse about how he/she did the most hurtful thing. Where then does the wisdom of God fit in?
If we see ourselves in the light of God knowing that the colleague or spouse is us, and their behaviour is the sin in our life and the one we are hurting is God. Then we'd understand that if God retaliated the way we did we wouldn't be here. God is love and that's the way he continues to respond even to the extent of sending His only Son to die, so that we His creation will be saved, perhaps that is why it is written that God's foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of the wisest human.

I pray that God the Father gives you the knowledge and understanding of His Eternal wisdom in Christ Jesus and may you bear the gifts of His Holy Spirit. Amen

Say Yes, like Jesus and Mary

We all have a plan and part to play in the salvation story and this began from Adam and Eve, their disobedience brought the separation of Man from God. But it was the obedience of Jesus and Mary that bought about the restoration of Man's relationship with God. Jesus obeyed his Father by accepting the cross but the fulfillment came only after Mary said yes to God's plan for her conceive a child. Come to think of it, 2000 years ago times were so different, society and culture was different, people were different, yet God was, is and will always be the same. And He has a plan and purpose for you and me in the salvation story, and we need to be accepting of His will no matter how difficult it may seem, for we don't do anything on our strength but thru Christ who strengthens us. Let us then be open to all that God desires of us, for through each one of us God will reach His people, just like He did through Jesus and Mary.

I pray that continuous and powerful intercession of Mama Mary Queen of Heaven and Earth beseech you with grace to say 'Yes' to the Father's calling of you in the salvation story participating with His Son Jesus Christ and be guided by His Holy Spirit. Amen

Seeking God's Love

We are often torn between wisdom and information, while on one hand it is good to have information, wisdom is gift from God and that comes with Faith. Perhaps which why Jesus was often quoted saying "Let it be done according to your faith." And it is this Faith that calls us to action in this our journey here on earth, the action of seeking God first, for there is absolutely nothing better than his love. You and I were were created by that love and for that love, however the choice of acceptance is with us. And the distractions to take us away from that Love will be many, sometimes it will come disguised as something you cannot resist or something very imperative. They key is in knowing that when you seek the kingdom of God all else (not only your needs but even your wants as long as it is in sync with God's purpose for your life) will be given to you.

I pray that God the Father strengthens your Faith in seeking his kingdom and in doing so may you live the Abundant life in Christ Jesus guided by the good counsel of His Holy Spirit. Amen

Called to be a Humble people

“I am the high and holy God, who lives for ever. I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are humble and repentant, so that I can restore their confidence and hope.

The one virtue that God loves a lot is Humility, and the word of God confirms the same throughout the Bible. Humility is not weakness or meekness, it is the acceptance of the truth, that we are dependent on God. While it is true that in making us in His image and likeness, He gave us free will, but this free will can often be fleeting and lead us to our downfall. But when we are accepting of God's will, we humble ourselves to know it is God's Grace that is working and leading our paths. The opposite of humility is pride and God hates the proud. For it was pride that got the brightest Angel thrown out of heaven. Imagine then how much we hurt God when act in pride. Let us in all our ways acknowledge God in everything and in all sincerity and humility accept His will for us.

I pray that God the Father draws your heart to imitate his Son Jesus who accepted death even on a cross by saying "Let your will be done" and may your paths be guided in Humility by the gentleness of His Holy Spirit. Amen

God is Love and the very nature of love is to give. And so it is with God, He is always wanting to give. As pilgrims on this earth we traverse the paths of life often crossing desserts and uphill climbs, but we do so because most times we are seeking are own way, and that is why we find the journey difficult at most times. We are all called to be part of his great banquet, but how do we reach the Banquet, we ask God to become our guide. Why ? because only He knows the way, for He is Way, the Truth and the Life. But the key is in asking, for when we ask we are humble, and God not only loves but also rewards humility. For even the Son of Man came to serve and not to be served. So no matter what your situation is; do as Jesus said, "Ask, and you shall receive..."

I pray that God the Father in all his benevolence gives you all that you ask of Him in the name of His son Jesus Christ thus bringing you closer to Him with the guidance and good counsel of the Holy Spirit. Amen

The invitation to the Lord's banquet is for everyone, but how do you respond to the invitation is what matters. You cannot go to party dressed in your pajamas or dirty sports wear. You got to be appropriately dressed for the occasion. Therefore when you go before God you cannot go with your old self, the self of sin. You go in the righteousness of the Lamb, our Lord Jesus Christ, who took our sin on Him, by being obedient to his Father. God's Grace is freely available to each and everyone of us, but to allow it to function in our lives, rests completely with us. Therefore it has to be our constant prayer to God like in David's Psalm "Create a pure heart in me, O God, and put a new and loyal spirit in me.  Give me again the joy that comes from your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.  My sacrifice is a humble spirit, O God; you will not reject a humble and repentant heart."
For then we will be clothed in God's righteousness and will be among those who are chosen, for this is the will of God.

I pray that the Father puts in your heart a desire to seek Him in all earnestness and may the sincerity of your Heart be your reward as He chooses to reveal to you his Son Jesus. And may the Holy Spirit be your Friend and Guide along the way. Amen

Be God Dependent

Life is going to throw many challenges each and everyday and sometimes some of these may not even make sense. But for everything that happens there is purpose and we've got to play our part by facing whatever comes our way. The best bit is we don't have to face these alone or depend on our own strength to win these daily battles. We have with us the most supreme power that can be; however a key point to also remember is that, this power doesn't operate like how we would like it to operate, it works accordingly to the will and purpose of that circumstance. God knows everything and all He wants me and you to do, is to lean on Him with regards to every thing/situation in our lives. No matter how big or small it is, know that God is in control. The more we relent and give to Him, the more powerful witness we shall bear.

I pray that God the Father pours in you special Grace to allow you to give it all to Jesus and let yourself be surrendered and guided by His Holy Spirit. Amen

Have you ever found yourself fighting with yourself to make a choice ? Yeah it happens everyday in life, sometimes with small choices and sometimes with big decisions. We often find ourselves fighting to choose the right things. God has simplified everything; Jesus taught us to pray and gave us the "Our Father" in which we pray "Your will be done..." And how do you know it is GOD's will; no matter what the choice is; you will be at peace and you won't be fighting... For in Christ we are called to an everlasting peace that transcends all understanding and surpasses all wisdom. And this Jesus affirms, when He says "Come to me, all you who are weary and I will give you rest"
So if you are tired of chasing pretty rainbows or if your are tired of running round and round. Wrap up all the choices you have and give them all to God and He will turn your sorrow into Joy.

I pray that the peace of God always be with and in you, making you more like his son Jesus Christ each day and may the Holy Spirit always be your counsel and guide. Amen

Seek First the Kingdom of God

No matter who you are, no matter what your past has been or your present is, know one thing; God loves you, which is why He made you. You wouldn't be on earth if you weren't part of God's plan. Many a times we think because of where we are in life, God will disown or abandon us. But that is not the truth. The truth is; God is love. Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow and that will never change. When Adam and Eve used leaves to cover themselves, God knew that wouldn't suffice and He provided them clothes with animal skin. We too are called to depend on his providence totally, because we are part of His plan, and the best example we can get of total dependency on God is that of Mary, because she said Yes, "Let it be done to me, according to His will." And she stuck to yes despite the hardships, despite the sorrow. Even to the point of carrying the dead body of her Son, the Messiah. Her faith did not deter, and that is the Faith of the Catholic Church today, that has stood the test of time, 2000 years on, it is still concerned with things of God's Kingdom and not man's.

I pray that God the Almighty Father in His unconditional and benevolent love provide you with all that you need in order to journey  your purpose in Christ Jesus and may you be protected and guided by the Holy Spirit. Amen

Just like David only we know the deep recesses of our hearts and all it contains; be it the hidden emotions, secret desires and untold feelings and somehow we tend to think that we can keep these locked in there. But the God who made us knows us, He knows our thoughts, he knows our ways and even the words we are yet to say, so there is no escape from God. We can continue to run and hide, but He is never going to leave our side. 

Therefore like David it has to be our constant endeavour to let God lead and have His way in our lives. God not just knows us, he understands us, because it is He who made us. Once we begin to place everything in His hands, He will make all things new. Every thought, word and deed if we give to him, He will make it right and help us live our lives according to the will of God, thus making us a pure and holy people just like his son our Lord Jesus Christ.

I pray that God the Father reveals to you all that He desires of you thus drawing you to be like His son Jesus Christ, and you always feel close to your heart the His Holy Spirit. Amen

Jesus: The Truth that sets you free!!!

So Jesus said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples;  you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

John 8:31‭-‬32

The thief comes only in order to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life — life in all its fullness.

John 10:10

Jesus came to set us free, and it is in His truth that we find total and absolute freedom to live life just as God intended for man. When He made Adam n Eve and gave them authority over all things. Do we really know the truth or are we still caught up in our own thoughts and beliefs? Do we justify things in the human realm? Sometimes we are scared to hear what God has to say perhaps because at times we want to hear something else. But God's ways are not our ways nor are His thoughts like ours. If we truly desire the life of Fullness that comes only from Christ then we ought to know Him more and in a deeper way, for He is the Truth, the Way, and the Life and once you know the Truth, the truth will set you free.

I pray that God the Almighty Father reveal to you in His wisdom the Truth that Jesus Christ is our only Hope and may the revelation bring you to the Life of Fullness as you be blessed by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Being Childlike

Somewhere deep within us is a child that is lost, for the world shapes us that way. All of life experiences teaches us to fight, which is why there is so much of hate, dissent, anger and sin. 

If we go back to our childhood, we will realize that nothing really mattered, the kind of clothes we wore or the toys we played or the friends we played with. Even whilst playing if we fought, sorry never seemed to be the hardest word. But as grown ups, everything has changed; our thoughts, our perceptions and our actions. How then can we belong to God's Kingdom? Jesus is very clear when He says, "The Kingdom belongs to Children" He wants us to be child like in our thoughts, words and actions with complete faith and trust in God. Therefore it should be our earnest prayer to God to create in us a new heart, a child like heart, so that we can see the world the way God sees it and play our part in making the world a better place.

I pray that God the Father creates in you a child like heart and may you trust Him with your life completely like His son Jesus thus walking in the light and truth always guided by his Holy Spirit. Amen

Being Faithful to God

This journey of faith is a continuous one, there is no real destination here. On life's course we have to keep navigating even though there might be bumpy roads, cross winds or torrid  weather which might deter the course. Many a times these instances may lead us to alternate routes but it is in times like these when need to be more focused. It can get very challenging but it is here that we need to fix our gaze on Jesus. By becoming man Jesus himself witnessed the challenges but he persevered in Faith, because God is Faithful. We may not understand why He would love us despite our imperfection, because it is we who see ourselves as such. God is a perfect and so is his creation, he has made you and me in perfection in his image and likeness, He made us in love, for God is love and that is reason enough to be faithful to Him.

I pray that God's love always be evident in your life, and may you grow into full maturity in Christ Jesus being lead by the Holy Spirit.

Called to Forgive

Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, if my brother keeps on sinning against me, how many times do I have to forgive him? Seven times?”

Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, and pay no attention to the log in your own eye?

No matter who you are, you will at some point in life hurt because of what someone else does to you. And mind you this begins from the ones closest, it may be your parents, your siblings, your best friends,  your work mates or even your some you don't directly know. There are two ways this hurt can go; one is, it goes to the recess of your heart and festers there into resentment and unforgiveness or two, it is expressed to God and the person and forgotten. Now most often we tend to choose the former  because we tend to think of ourselves as righteous. But know one thing, God knows everything. As difficult it may seem to forgive we ought to let go, because unforgiveness is like holding burning coal in your own hand, it's does nothing to the other but instead it only wounds and hurts you. 

Perhaps an easier exercise to help forgive would be as Jesus says, "to look into our own eyes" and see the number of times we failed God by our own disobedience and sin. Do we deserve God's forgiveness? yet then God chooses to forgive... How much more we ought to forgive those than sin against us then ?

I pray that the Grace of God move your heart and fill you with His unconditional Love giving you the Grace in Christ Jesus to Forgive. And May the Holy Spirit bear in you the it's Fruits. Amen

In union with Christ and through our faith in him we have the boldness to go into God's presence with all confidence.

Life is a journey that we are all called to make and on this journey we are going to encounter all sorts of bumpy roads, puddles, blocks, others speeding, low fuel etc.  In that bargain we are going to get to get murky and dirty, but we do not have to worry, because we are not alone. The very one who created us is with us on this journey, but we are not wholly aware, in fact we are often lead to think we are all by ourselves. And that is a blatant lie, God was with Man from the very beginning, He was with Adam, Abraham, Jacob and Moses. but not all could had access to him,  because of their respective journeys, so in order to make it right God send his only Son and Jesus took the form of Man, thus making humanity holy like himself.  And we have the Holy Spirit with us  to be our advocate, but how much of His advice do we solicit. If in Faith we do, we will realize not matter how murky or dirty the past has been, we are a new creation in Christ and then this journey will be a breeze for we will know the its very purpose and our destination.

I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love.

He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.

The one thing that God wants us to do is to be Patient. For everything has a time and that time has been set already... Be it the season of harvest, be it fruits on a tree, the rains or even lil new borns, nothing happens in an instant, everything takes time. When we are patient we grow in maturity, and this maturity helps us see things the way God does. It took Jesus 30 years to actually begin his ministry and when He did begin, He waited 3 more years for God's time to fulfill His purpose for the salvation of Man. If the Son of God waited and trusted His Father, how much more we ought to then. No matter what situation you are in, when you feel you're on a point where there is a sea on one side and a valley on the other; Be still and Trust God and He will make a way.

I pray the God the Father pours out in you His Grace, giving you patience, wisdom and understanding in Christ Jesus and may you be lead by the Holy Spirit to your anointed time.

God is Love

And we ourselves know and believe the love which God has for us. God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them.

neither the world above nor the world below — there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:39

It's takes just one word to sum up who God is. It is Gods wisdom that even though His magnitude cannot be measured, yet we can encapsulate him in a single word and that is LOVE. But mind you God's love isn't like what we think love is, His love is pure and perfect, unending and unconditional. From the very beginning God loved us and because He loved us He created us; but like Adam we too fail to understand God's love for us and since his fall, human flesh became imperfect, but God's love is perfect and He chose to send down His only beloved Son who was sinless to take on human imperfection, so that you and I could be looked at as He looks at his Son, and how do you look at your children, only with Love... So no matter what the trial or tribulations in life we ought to know there is a God who loves us more than we can know and comprehend and nothing, absolutely nothing can separate us from His Love.

I pray that God's perfect and pure love maybe felt in you this day, and may you receive the foretaste of what's in store for you through Christ Jesus and may all that you do, be lead in Love in the Holy Spirit. Amen

Make friends with God

The righteous person is a guide to his friend, but the path of the wicked leads them astray.

Proverbs 12:26

My commandment is this: love one another, just as I love you.  The greatest love a person can have for his friends is to give his life for them.  And you are my friends if you do what I command you.

John 15:12‭-‬14

A friend plays more than a significant part in ones life, think about it, when you messed up, the first thing you did was call up your closest friend and confided or perhaps when you're gng thru the lows of life you want to reach out to your friend, perhaps that's why God gave us the options of choosing friends because most times it is with friends that  temptations are given into... 

So how do you choose a friend ? You ask God to send you friends because God himself is and wants to be your friend. Think about it, If God wanted us to be his slaves, he would have never given us free will,  infact by giving us the power of choice He wants us to make the decision of becoming his friends. And what a friend we have in Jesus, we surely can carry every single thing to Him and simply be ourselves for He came not to judge but to set us free.

When you Pray this week leave your format aside, and talk to God as if you were confiding in your best friend and watch what happens...

I pray that the Love of God draws you close to His son Jesus as each day you get to know him better and  the bond of your friendship grows with fruits of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Walking with God

Remember that I have commanded you to be determined and confident! Don't be afraid or discouraged, for I, the Lord your God, am with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

Luke 18:27

Many a times, whilst on walking in the path that God chose for us we will come across stumbling blocks, but the very purpose of these blocks, is to make you stumble. At times these blocks even camouflage themselves to being a part of God's plan, but we must be aware and alert. And no matter how big or small the blocks are, we ought to realize that whilst walking the path chosen for us we do so, not with our own strength and abilities, we do so because God is with us and we rely on his strength and abilities. So let us not limit God with his doing, for God has big and huge plans for you and me and whilst in the human realm these plans may seem way unrealistic, we got to keep reminding ourselves that what is impossible for man is possible for God.

I pray that God the Father Almighty reveal to you in His wisdom the path and plans He has for you and like Jesus make you walk each day in the light of the Holy Spirit to the path of Truth, Love and Freedom. Amen.

God's Grace is Free

For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it.
Ephesians 2:8‭-‬9 GNBDC

But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ's power over me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 GNBDC

Nothing we do can merit us our salvation, for salvation was not just God's plan but also a gift to us, and God gives it to us because of who He is and not because of who we are or what we deserve. And this is God's Grace; unmerited, unconditional Love and Mercy. So how do we gain it? Simply by humbling ourselves knowing fully that we are dependent on God, when you acknowledge your weakness, God uses it to be your strength, look back at the times where you felt absolutely helpless and all you did was call out to God, irrespective of how much you had sinned or disobeyed God, He came to your rescue... Why ? Because that is who God is and that is how much He loves you... All we need to do is love Him back and allow him to work in our daily lives.

I pray that God the Father pours his Grace on you, drawing you to the life of Abundance in Jesus Christ and may the Holy Spirit be your advocate in all things. Amen

His Mercies are new every Morning

But after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who calls you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself perfect you and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation.
1 Peter 5:10

The Lord 's unfailing love and mercy still continue,  Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise.  The Lord is all I have, and so I put my hope in him.
Lamentations 3:22‭-‬24

Every trial, every shortcomings and every fall is an inlet for God to make a way, many a times we don't understand and we question why me Lord? Why me ? That's because  his ways are not our ways and as human we fail to instantly recognize how God's grace works in our lives.
It's fresh every morning, and every new day is a time for hope, all we need to do is allow God to work in our lives, cos the more we resist by believing in our own ideology the more suffering we will go through, but when we allow God to take control, even the heaviest cross will become a calling and in that we will made one with Christ sharing every thing God has in store for us.

I pray that God the Father bestow his unending Love and Mercy in you thus drawing you closer to be like His son Jesus Christ in union with His Holy Spirit. Amen

God's Promise

But the Lord says, “Do not cling to events of the past or dwell on what happened long ago.  Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already — you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there.
Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19

So also will be the word that I speak — it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.
Isaiah 55:11

God's word is the eternal truth, it is a covenant that He makes to his people, which will never break no matter what the price, for God promised Abraham an inheritance and spared him his son. God promised freedom to the Israelites and He parted the seas and God promised us salvation and sent his only Son to die. That is how God keeps his word, all we are called to do is trust in his word, but many a times we find ourselves like Peter who heard Jesus saying 'Come', and started walking on water  towards Jesus but as soon as He noticed the wind, he began to sink. God makes to each of us promises, that no matter what the situation He will always, always be there... The light many dim but it will never disappear. All we need to do is keep the Faith.  

I pray that God the Father's word spoken for you find fulfillment in your life thus bringing you to his abundance as you journey with His Son Jesus Christ and be lead by His Holy Spirit. Amen

Called to Trust!!

Trust in the Lord . Have faith, do not despair. Trust in the Lord .
Psalms 27:14

He will not break off a bent reed, or put out a flickering lamp. He will persist until he causes justice to triumph,  and in him all peoples will put their hope.”
Matthew 12:20‭-‬21

We all go thru the good Fridays of life, it gets dark, it gets lonely, it gets scary. There comes a point in time when you begin to think twice. Imagine the plight of the apostles even though Jesus was in the boat, they all thought otherwise. The faith of the apostles was in doubt again lil while after Jesus was arrested, Peter denies the same Jesus whom He called the Messiah. And that is why the Father gave us Hope in His son Jesus, the same Jesus who calmed the roaring sea the same Jesus who looked at Peter with eyes of love even though he denied Him. We are given a hope in Jesus Christ when the father himself acknowledged, "This is my son in whom I am well pleased." We all are called to have the same faith just as Mary did when she stood by the cross and just as Jesus did when He said "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit"  neither of them despaired but it was the faith and hope in God that bought them victory.

I pray that God the loving Father's presence is always felt by you especially in the calling times of life and may Jesus Christ be your Easter Hope as you are lead to steadfast faith by the Holy Spirit. Amen
