Commit to the Lord

We all have the desire within us to carry our plans and visions that we have for our lives. But are these plans in alignment to God's will? In all that we do, we must always Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and we will be successful in carrying them out.

Worldly Concerns

Of all the things that concern the human race, it is money that brings about the most. Because the thing about money is; it is never enough. Know that every good thing created here on earth is gift from God, however we have come to love his gifts more. God's ways are different for The LORD says, “Come, everyone who is thirsty — here is water! Come, you that have no money — buy corn and eat! Come! Buy wine and milk — it will cost you nothing!  Why spend money on what does not satisfy? Why spend your wages and still be hungry? Listen to me and do what I say, and you will enjoy the best food of all.

Wholeheartedly and Totally

The world may seem to be a good place to be in, but we must know and be aware at all times that it is not permanent place for us to be in. Once our journey ends we will enter into Eternity and the only way to prepare for it is to 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.'

Be Merciful!

We live in a world broken by sin, and inevitably people are going to hurt us, however, the flip side is; we are going to hurt others too. Because sometimes we will end doing that, what we don't want to. But we have hope, in Jesus Christ; our Lord and Saviour. He has overcome it all, even death. Let us then imitate Christ who was merciful to even those who crucified him, and He assures us that Happy are those who are merciful to others;  God will be merciful to them!

Eyes of Faith

It can be a challenge to comprehend God's sovereignty and our free will and how they work together, and the truth is it is happening right now at this very moment. Know that to see what isn't obvious, we need to do so with eyes of faith. For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts for ever.

God our Help

When we are faced with a problem, our first reaction is to see how we can solve it on our own accord. And we will worry ourselves out trying to do so. But know that God's ways are unlike ours; therefore, leave your troubles with the LORD, and he will defend you; he never lets honest people be defeated.

Called to Shine

The entire darkness in the world will never be able to put out the flame of single candle. In a world that is broken by sin, Christ brings hope that no else can give or take away and as Christians we are ambassadors of this Hope!! For Jesus himself has says to us; “You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden." So don't hide away, let your light shine!

Love in Action

God us loves not matter what and these are not just words, for he loves us so much that he sent his only son to die; so that you and I can live. Now this is loves in action! Therefore  as God does, so should we: our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.

Armour of God

As Christians we are equipped for battles for God himself has given us his armour. So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight round your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people.

Don't give up

A marathon is never about who is the fastest, it is about who is the most persistent and so it is with life; we have come to want everything in the now and this only makes us weary. Know that we are all created for eternity, and that should be our focus and goal. So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.

Peacemakers!

The world may seem at unrest as sickness, war and sin plague it. There seems to be darkness all over and it is here that we as Christians must let our light shine, for no one puts a lamp under the table and we have a peace that the world cannot give nor take away. As we desire to bring peace to the world, let this endeavor then begin in our homes and know that; Happy are those who work for peace;  God will call them his children!

Restoration

The Christian life is that of Battles and Blessings and through it all we have the assurance of our living God who is with us in them. Gold needs the fire to be purified and shaped by the goldsmiths. And so it is with us, but after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who calls you to share his eternal glory in union with Christ, will himself perfect you and give you firmness, strength, and a sure foundation.

The Lord's Ways

We can make all the plans in the world, but if it doesn't include God it makes no sense. For then our toil will only bring us stress and anxiety. Jesus said, what does it gain a man to win the whole world and lose his soul. But if we leave everything in God's hands he makes all things beautiful in his time. Therefore, let every single action you do, be for the glory of God. For 'you may make your plans, but God directs your actions.'
